This was awesome! As an American I was so impressed with George’s imitation of an American accent, he nailed it! So funny. Still love George after all these years. He did bring color and fun to the US. Thanks George! ❤️
I miss Boy George back in his prime. Because of his smoking, his voice has become so deep now. It's okay but I miss his high tenor vocals. Will always be a fan.
+Joey Convery .. and I think I must admit that I miss BG in those wonderful wigs ... and I think his sans-wig androgynous soft boy look during The Crying Games/Martyr Mantras days was utterly the most beautiful creature that every walked the earth, he was a lot more introspective, quiet and sad looking during the early 90s which elevated his beauty to the ethereal realm ...
Well, I Know all of that. Obviously, more mature, and self-confident . Obviously, creative, genious, great artis, creator etc etc etc. But i wonder why has changed his way of speaking. I mean, i´m so sorry and apologize in advance, but Seems to have internalized the worst and most vulgar way of speaking of certain gay stereotypes that are characterized by mimicry. I can´t believe it. That´s why i am still impressed. That´s why i dare to say that he was more natural
He was so brave young adult. At that era where (almost) everything judging by the look - even now still - and compromise for acceptance. But Georgy....have a different idea and he thinks "fuck off! I wear anything I want!". He "taught" me how to embrace ourselves with our uniqueness and different(ness). That's why I still adore him for sooooooo many years since the early 80ies. Long live, beautiful soul! I salute you! 💞💖💕❤
I just LUV LUV LUV him!! I remember when this first aired, I had just turned 14, and was living in a rural suburb in California,,,,and I remember the Grammy awards that he referenced, ( I think it was the previous year) where he said, “Thanks America! You’ve got style you’ve got grace and you know a good drag queen when you see one!” Then blew a kiss 💋.....I remember vividly it was ALL OVER school the next morning!!! EVERYONE was talking about Boy George! Some of it was bad of course,,, but some of the talk was good, like all the kids that were “mod” and “new wave” and his fans (( like me)) were defending him,,,,and I remember thinking “Wow! What power he has that the whole school is talking about him and something he said...” and I was so proud to be a Culture Club fan, and still am! And I always will be!! ❤️❤️❤️
Sadly he was wrong about a lot of the US. We are all individuals. So to each their own. Grow up in a smaller town myself, but you have to always be yourself. Some accept you some don’t. It’s life. We knew what to do with you and your music Boy George. We loved it. And we idolized your look and loved your sound and the fashion you introduced to boot. Thank you for you and your music. Never under estimate people though anywhere in the world. TV isn’t America. And most people misjudge people in the US. I grew up loving the English new wave music influence. It let me know there were many others like me here that loved this movement of sound and sight and after all most of us came from European decent. And quite frankly most of the music here in the US really sucked back then. Not all but most of it. So yes again. Thank you for what you brought to us here and to the rest of the word. I wish there were more like you now days.
I love his voice, then and now. Such a beautiful human being. His brilliant personality alone has taken him above and beyond borders of the world, and years of time, more so than most musicians and entertainers. ;-) ;-) ;-)
I was once this androgynous, and will be again...I have a hereditary problem with hair loss and that partially killed my androgyny, but am regrowing it all, and reshaping what I once had...then I'll show all that straight male androgyny iz not dead.
I completely agree with him. Being a South American, I see Britain more democratic and liberal than the USA. Britain always sets examples and controversy. American people are still restrained by religious standards.
That's just what you see on TV. Most people you get to meet in person you'll find that media distorts us at best... Or completely fabricates what an American is at worst.
ILOVE YOU MI AMORCITO BOY GEORGE PRECIOSO mi xoxo me encastas mucho amo todo de ti tu música tus vestuario tus locuras todo tu me encantas ILOVE YOU MI AMORCITO BOY GEORGE 😍😍😍♥️♥️♥️😘😘😘😍😍😍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I agree that the UK is kind of a like a laboratory and ideas get expounded on there but I think America has started the most progression in music in particular, not so much lately because of covid etc but in the past, esp the 20th century, I would say the US has made more contributions music-wise
Boy George you look absolutely beautiful handsome and very sexy I love how your hair looks and I love the way you speak when you are being interviewed you are a very intelligent guy and I love you 🎶🎶🎶💓💓💓🔥🔥🔥
George Alan O'Dowd (Londres, 14 de junio de 1961), más conocido como Boy George, es un cantante, músico, diseñador de moda y DJ británico. Alcanzó un alto nivel de fama con su agrupación musical Culture Club en los años 1980.

You couldn't talk about gay in those days in Ireland. I remember boy George couldn't even say he was gay. He would have been ruined. It was illegal to be gay in Ireland. No rights whatsoever. Terrible because I was a kid and knew I was gay.
I didn't know that about Ireland at that time. That being the case, I think Boy George was a little harsh regarding his remarks about America. He and Culture Club were HUGE in America.
@@watchman1178 the law changed in 1994 and no more prosecution. No joke. People like George paved the way for change, how are you anyway. Do you live in America.

so well spoken and so much intelligence and brilliance in how he speaks.
Very Beautiful and intelligent inside and out.

Totally, I have been a fan since 1982 but his new voice just doesn't make me melt like his 80s and 90s voice. He has lost all his range
Gorgeous back then and so talented.
I'm totally fascinated by the man.

That‘s a great movie, i agree.
