Very grateful to the Incendio Trio for championing this piece! More information about Luminous Sky can be found here: hassmusic.com/chamber/luminoussky/
awesome. love how it never feels forced or gimmicky with mixed/abnormal time signatures, just feels like that’s exactly how the music should sound. keep it up!
Chris, dude, this is so beautiful! I absolutely adore these chord progressions, and I remain impressed at how well you can take three or four saxophonists and make it sound like there's ten of them playing. Great work, man!!!
Thanks so much Harrison!! It definitely helps having three of the best saxophonists playing on this recording - if I just give them constant arpeggios, they’re bound to sound like a bigger ensemble. Glad you enjoyed what you heard!

That’s the goal! Hoping to make the music flow in a natural despite the difficulty and frequent meter changes.
What an impeccable arrangement!!! I love when the Bari shines through!!
Bari Appreciation is always welcome 💕💕🥰
Can’t beat a good bari melody!
I made sure to buy the music immediately! I cant wait to play it in my highschool trio!
That means a lot! Best of luck with the music, the arpeggios are no joke (and I should’ve known not to go into concert D major at the end…).
Absolutely beautiful

this is great! the part at 2:14 sounds so beautifully like klezmer to my ears. I love it!
The way the music flows is so gorgeous.. I'm in love.. I feel like I'm flying just listening to this
You should make a Clarinet Quartet piece I would like to see what you do with that
Those sixteenth notes make me wanna 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
I love this!
Sounding good! At risk of being cheeky, I really wonder what this would sound like if transcribed for Oboe, English Horn, and Bassoon 🤔
1:21 this part slaps, amazing song!
Do you ever plan on adapting this piece for a quartet including tenor sax?
@@eeerrr7745 I don’t plan on it, unfortunately. I tried to make the three parts as efficient as possible so I wouldn’t need the tenor.
