Glacier In The Off Season? | Going to the Sun Road | Trail of the Cedars | Polebridge [4K UHD]

In this episode we visit the amazing Glacier National Park in northwest Montana. We are visiting in mid-October, and for this area, it's the off-season! We travel Going-to-the-Sun Road: A 50-mile scenic drive offering stunning mountain views, making stops at Sunrift Gorge, Trail of the Cedars and McDonald Creek. We also visit the community of Polebridge, Montana where we enjoy some tasty treats from the Mercantile.

Colors are simply stunning! The yellow of the trees, that brilliant blue water and the vivid green of the moss are better than any rainbow!
Marvelous footage and you put it all together so well.
I was particularly impressed with the rack focus to the waterfall, early in the piece.

What route did you take when you came across the border from Canada to be close to glacier?

We used the Carway port of entry because the Chief Mountain port of entry was closed for the season.
