Never give up. I am like that, too, but I know that there is no other hope but in God through Christ, so I just keep pursuing him. Like Dr. Thomas said the writer is saying: Never give up!!! Pursue God!!!
John MacArthur made a statement that really touched me….something like this , ‘if you are concerned and your heart is heavy about this chances are you are chosen….it’s the unchosen who really don’t care or have any concern about it….you care and heavy at heart’ ..my take away…God has chosen you….otherwise you would not care…and it’s our own knowledge how far we have fallen that we know only through JESUS CHRIST CAN WE MEET WITH OUR FATHER…give all glory to Christ…..none of us are worthy….hold on to the Lord Jesus Christ..He makes us worthy…
