Once you have a your multiband layer, how do you ensure your bands match each tif file? And is there a way to rename the band names to the file names?

The first way to do this is to (1) mosaic all your TIF files into a single raster, (2) add all your rasters into a mosaic dataset. This would be one way to ensure all TIFs match the same symbology.
But if you don't decide to do this way, you would have to import your symbology from the TIF that you want it to be the same. In this case, it will ensure that it stretches out by the same type (percent clip, st.dev, etc). The only potential issue with that is if the minimum and maximum values are different for your rasters... For an 8-bit raster, this would be the raster with a range of 0 to 255. Hope this helps!
