So if I go the engineer mode route I turn the auto update off then just keep firmware 03.30.05 I'm new to this whole engineer mode thing I'm just trying to get all the facts together before I make a decision. Any more information would be appreciated
Yes if you just go engineer mode do the update and then turn it off you won't get the next update What if you leave on auto update you'll get the next update. And there's already a next update 04.30.08
Thanks , just wanted to point that , games have to support DV also natively , and xbox also needs an update before that But its such a great news for CX owners future proofing our TV Hoping halo supports this DV and we can try it out
@@albaniampureana8602 I wouldn't necessarily keep engineer mode on because it'll always update with the beta version which is acceptable to bugs so if you turn off engineering mode and the new regular update comes out it'll overwrite yes.
@@albaniampureana8602 it will only write over the engineering mode firmware as long as the new version has a higher number firmware. If a new one came out that is lower then it won't update it.
@@bodybagize ENG FWs are always the newer ones, current has Dolby 120hz, public one has MONTHS without it, I think keeping EGN on is the best, like Xbox Insider FW.
Bate updates and were now on 04.30.10 on the engineering channel. You have to have a special remote that you can get on Amazon a service remote and then the code for getting into that is 0413 watch videos how to enable it. I'm not sure if you're waiting for a regular update when they will be released I could not tell you.
Thank you for the upload and information!!
Ok fixed
