The conductor here has less than no clue - tempos are far too fast. The beautiful waltz melodies in particular suffer from this - no nuance, no sentiment, no attempt at a true Viennese waltz beat. Everything rushes by like a freight train, with comparable subtlety. A shame, as Cagliostro contains an abundance of melodies as only Strauss could create them. (D. Chamberlin)
Your Great!
Why in first and second bars fast tempo - this is wrong !
