It is interesting that while two vortexes are formed behind the cylinder which grow to a complex situation and they will eventually oscillate and diverge to the leeward side , there at the front end there are no pairs of vortexes are formed. This happens on occasions on a flat plate and if one puts a separation plate at the stagnation point at the front the stationary fluid particles attached to the separation plate will start separation and two vortexes will form in the corner. It is interesting how rounded need the front section be so that the two vortexes at the front would not be created . Congratulations for the excellent presentation and narration.
