She came out there FULL voice blowing! and hitting the notes. and then somewhere in the middle of that song she starts losing her voice, and by the end she was like voiceless. But she still put on a great show, and thank God her voice came back for later in the show.
We won tickets to this. It was performed the show before they announced the winner but they played this the night they announced the winner (Donny Osmond) on TV. When Whitney came down the stairs the first time she tripped a little so they ended up having to film the entire performance a second time. They had to sweep up all of those dollar bills, which must have taken at least 45 minutes. A lot of the celebrities that were in the front row had to leave so they moved everyone up to make it seem like more people were still there.

I sense she wasn't happy about it . She sang live on TOTP etc. She was a real singer. Even here where they put the belts on tape she still attempted them. Same as some I am every woman she would ad lib something else or not mime so you knew it wasn't live. As for her last tour some dates she did the second part of "nothing but love live" and that but I think the pre recorded intro was for her to warm her voice up etc as you can see visually she is singing at full volume even though her mic is silenced and when it does go live it was mid way through a verse.
