I was gonna say the same! I love infernal eels tbh, especially if you're an ironman! The eels drop tokkul which will lead to an onyx if you do them enough. They also drop onyx bolt tips. If you use these to make onyx rune bolts, you can alch them for 8k a piece!
I am 97 and have pretty much exclusively done barbarian fishing while @ work for the afkness. The agility + strength xp has been nice, 80/77 on those, respectively. nice guide!
The aerial fishing xp rates are off by quite a bit. Once you unlock the final tier of fish you can get 55k+ fishing xp/hr along with 65k+ hunter. I get around 50k fishing xp/hr and I'm not doing it even close to max efficiency. I'm doing it for collection log and it's actually more efficient than training hunter and fishing separately (but a lot more click intensive as well).
A side place to get the Angler Outfit if players don't want to rely on that horrendous minigame, You can go to Molch Island and Fish there and save up teh pearls. Takes longer, but an optional method. I honestly did barbarian fly fishing to 99 on a tablet while doing other stuff. took months though

If you want to make a solo Tempoross guide yourself, I would love to show you a method that gets you 20-21 points per game. It really bothers me that every "Max Tempoross Points!" guide out there only shows how to get like 12 permits per game and they usually do a terrible job explaining the gameplay as well. Just want this better method to be out in the world and figured you are the best creator to put it out there if you are interested in the idea.
if you wear your highest prayer bonus + dragon harpoon with lightbearer ring. you can use (lvl 55 prayer - preserve) on for 45 min - 90 mins. use ancient mace for prayer boost over your prayer level ( this trick is good for any skill too). mount quidamortem is the best barb fishing spot too because there's a bank super close, making it faster and less click intensive than dropping the fish. im getting about 110-140 sharks at fishing guild with my prayer trick cuz of the +3 boost and fishing guild gives an invisible +7 boost. yeah kind of slow but super AFK + money while i study until i can do anglerfish

The 2-tick harpoon fish in Pisc is a load of BS. You get like 40k/hr and you're 99% of the time setting up these fucking rats. As soon as the pool moves, you need to re-setup your rats because they go off-tick or dont walk over eachother.

Fishing have made me millions alone just doing temp for a month straight. Y’all legit need to stop following these guys and experience the game. Cause these guides leave out a lot of real useful information that when you figure it out you gonna say why none of the guides never bought this up. But if you aren’t talking to ppl in game and asking questions stick to these guides

Its not recommended bc you kill xp rates and waste time fishing when you could be doing something else to make more money (Bossing). Its also why people spend money on fast methods (like making arrows instead of making bows in fletching). Simple economics.
If you think research goes beyond doing a method for X amount of time to check exp rates, showing where and how to do it and what items to use idk what to tell you man. You're probably the type of person for which people include "CAUTION: HOT" on coffee cups

Good guide. You missed one good AFK method tho - fishing infernal eels in Mor Ul Rek. Similar xp and money as sacred eels, but available at L80.
Don’t forget that it is also locked behind the requirement of having a fire cape too though. Still a great afk method.
I imagine most people with lv80 fishing also have the combat stats to do the cape

Karambwans are better with fish barrel for afk as the spot never moves.

remember to get your untrimmed cooking cape before your fishing cape for maximum cooking experience for your raw fish
