I dont know of a single GDKP in North America that a Priest can bid up a 2h axe. GDKPs here dont allow that toxic behavior. You must be able to equip the item to bid on that item.
Soft Reserve is the best imo. You can choose to go for the big item or go for smaller upgrades with less competition usually. It's fair for new guild members aswell.
I love classic WoW, but I do like the personal loot system. I always felt less bad getting no loot on my personal roll, as opposed to losing a roll to someone else. And I enjoyed being able to trade loot you didn't need with others in the raid for a short time. Those feelings probably vary from person to person though.
As far as everything goes down and one raid doesn’t take more than one night, I prefer to see people playing what they want. Arms warriors, ret palas, shadow priests as long as they execute the mechanics correctly. I don’t care about speed runs and logs at this point. Everyone should be able to roll for any gear they want if this doesn’t impact the ability to clear raids within one raiding evening assigned for each raid. DKP (without auction) would be the best for guild and Gdkp for Pugs. DKP without auction and priorities gears the guild evenly and keep people together. No one will spend all his DKP for an item and leave the guild. I remember in 2019 my mediocre guild managed to clear up to Naxx all content in 30-33 people, we were struggling to get full raid. If that was possible, 10 meme specs players wouldn’t make a difference as long as they don’t wipe the raid by ignoring mechanics. I’m sure there are sweaty players who can clear raids within even less people. The min/max mentality kills the joy of the game.
It depends on your status in the game. If you're in a good guild with splits (and hopefully no women), loot council is king because leadership is competent, fair, and calculating for the long-term (race for next tier release, parse nights, feeding your Demonology Warlock for SP in Wrath). If you're playing the game like a regular person, then just do soft reserve. Gdkp would be good if was self-farmed gold. In a world where Blizzard hired a part-time intern to click one button on very obvious bots, but that's too much to ask apparently. So, you have third world pond scum selling gold to losers in other countries to earn respect from other raiders they never got in real life from mommy and daddy (by doing big bids) and to illegitimately obtain gear gear.
My favorte system is the SR point system we have in one of my guilds. The more you SR one item, you acumulate points on it wich increase your roll. As weeks go by and you keep SRing the same item, eventually you get so many points on it that newcomers can't yoink it from you. Its basically a queue for each item. Want the item? get in line, when it drops and it's your turn, then its yours. This system rewards loyalty, wich is far more important that performance in my opinion. I belive performace in wow classic in general is overrated. and the only context in wich it matters is when attemtpting to break world records.
@@Johannesdog It's not a problem at all, it's just respecting the turn of others who have been waiting on an item for a longer time than yourself. Do you belive it's fair for a new comer to join and inmediately yoink an item that others have been waiting on for months? either with a lucky roll or dumping a bunch of gold buying it? In my opinion the lucky roll with be more unfair, at least dumping the gold you're increasing the pot for others. but both options allow newcomers to skip the line. I just think respecting the line is the better than skiping it somehow.
DKP - If people want the pvp gear or bad options i don't understand what the problem is. They earned the points by showing up weekly. The tanks should be responsible enough to gear for what is needed, for rest of players content is really not that hard
Ok so whats happening? Your giving the 1st Neltharion's Tear to your GF who is a warlock that just parsed a grey 6 for the entire BWL? 15 mins later.... Guild disbanded.
There is nothing worse than playing on an empty server, or a server with a non-existing economy...where one have to spend 4+ hours every day farming just to be able to raid... A server which there are no items on the AH, but also a server where one can't sell anything on the AH...a low populated server with casuals that never played the game, that are sooo bad at the game and just shows up to guilds raids now and then when they feel like it...begging for consumables.... Fck no. GDKP is by far the best system, it also adds to a server-wide complex economic system because GOLD is used as a global currency. DKP is useless outside your guild.
GDKP. You are always in control of the loot if you have a bit of patience to gather up your gold. Gold buyers will continue to exist irrespectively. They can make arrangements outside of the game. Its dumb. If someone is of the opinion that gold buyers will no longer exist just because Blizzard banned GDKP's, you are wrong in my opinion.
No one argues that gold buying wouldn't still exist in the game if GDKP is banned. That is a strawman. GDKP incentivizes gold buying, it doesn't cause it. This then incentivizes botting and inflates the economy much faster as there is a much bigger market than just buying gold for consumables. It is like how lung cancer exists without smoking but smoking makes it more likely. Hopefully that help you understand the other side of the argument instead of GDKP = gold buying.
What do you think is the best loot system and why?
look at this dude liking his own comment 😄 naaaah
typical johannes narcissist behaviour hahahaha

I like personal loot too it just felt bad when you got something that you did not need at all.

TBC was a bit better letting loads of classes play what they want.
EPGP was great after some tweaking. It tries to fix issues with DKP hoarding and inconsistent item pricing.
Holy fuck I’m excited for fresh classic!!!!!!!!
Lets gooooo!

This makes sense, but goes into having trouble joining as others have more points then you.

Gdkp. Makes having alts meaningful. I would earn gold on my Priest in your raids and spend it on my new toons.- Smiteandy
Gold sellers and bots agree with you
@BlazingWolfTV ? Sure Goldbuyers exist, but if they want to spend a lot of money for it, then so let them. A fool and his money are soon to be Parted.
Yeah exactly i forgot to add that in the video. that you can gear your alts and main at same time faster.

Dkp or Gdkp always top tier👍 Sr or roll is ass
We all like to see points being gained.
GDKP will be banned on the new classic realms, just like SoD
Sadly yes, maybe they will change it.
Is your mic in another room lol
Mic issue fixed next video :)
is clicking revenge in half the videos low tier rage bait?
Have you caught on to my evil plan?
Probably sr or dkp , i like gdkp too but the people buy gold with money , if the gdkp is with your own gold i dont think is bad at all .
Could have been the best loot system yeah
