Hi Beth , I know this was about your meal prep but I just loved your dads screen that he painted and beautifully inscribed. What a treasure. Your father was someone inspired me in decorating years ago when I watched him on tv.Such a gentleman .Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. Have a beautiful blessed day 😁🙏🕊
Coming in from school and smelling my moms amazing cooking is one of my absolutely favorite memories. It’s the smell of home ! Than you for your wonderful videos they are such a breath of fresh air💕🦋I’ve never been to France however being from Louisiana and having grandparents who spoke Cajun French is such a reminder of the similarities of the culture 😊
I love this video so much. So real. This video is also making me buying the healthy stuffs for salads! I am going to the supermarket now... That's how effective this video is. Thanks Beth ❤
So sorry Beth. What a heartbreaking loss. On a light note your videos were so awesome this summer. The shopping the seafood market. Your dinner parties and decorating. Really fun. I had asked for you to share what you ate in a day and voila! Thank you and please do share when you add seasonal changes. Your the best!!!
Hi Beth, I'm not on Instagram so I did not know your brother had passed this Spring. My sincere condolences. In the fall of 2021 I lost 3 beloved family members and 2 friends ( both were in their 50's and had heart attacks). Time helps but the tears are still there in a blink and quick to come. I take solace in knowing they were well loved while with us. I hope his wife and children are doing well. They definitely have a wonderful aunt. I've told my husband about you and your family here and in France and what a great cook and baker you are. I just printed out your pumpkin cake recipe to try. It's just too hot now to think about putting the oven on. You made me realize that I should prep and cook my veggies for the week, so I plan to start doing this. Thanks for all your tips!
Thank you for your kind words! And yes you hit it right the tears are quick, come out of nowhere sometimes! But he lived a beautiful life and we have so many beautiful memories of him too! So that does help! We can't say "what could have been" because we saw exactly what it was, which was a life SO well lived with so many friends, loved ones, and beautiful experiences. So that is the real blessing :)
Aww thanks Kristen! Yes George has really sprung back after his accident and it's such a great reminder of the power of "Yes I can!" even dogs feel it! Ha!
What fun to see your day! I am so happy you enjoy the Nature screen! I painted that during a Connecticut Hurricane! You kids would watch me!! Better than watching television!!!❤️
Beth, welcome home. I used to live in California, and still miss it very much to this day. Loved the awesome meal prep ideas... but absolutely loved hearing that you and your siblings all have names from one of my favorite childhood books, "Little Women" , (Beth, Meg, and Joe)!
I want to thank you for sharing your vacation trip packing video. Some of the clothes you shared are just amazing and I had to purchase many of the items you shared. Especially the JCrew Factory Cotton Teddy Sweater. I absolutely love it! Please consider doing a Fall/Winter clothing video. BTW, I love chimichurri and make it whenever I can. It makes everything taste amazing.
This video just gave me such "good feels." The screen your father painted is so precious! I enjoy a banana-frozen berries smoothie too! I have to try the cashew yogurt with it next time. Wow! That lunch salad looks amaaaaazing! You are incredible! I wait for my kid to come home and ask, "What are you cooking for dinner?" ;) We'll have to try that roasted chicken ! I love how healthy all of your meals and snacks are! Thank you for these great ideas---always!!!! 💖🙏
Ha! Your talented daughter could whip up that chicken with her eyes closed ha! So easy and good! And yes, you'll love that Cashew Yogurt from TJs it also comes in Vanilla flavor too! :)
I loved this video!! My childhood I lived with my grandmother and she would make my sisters and I roasted chicken after school and it’s true comfort food!! Cozy and warm.
Yum! I tweaked the recipe slightly…threw some pecans in the air fryer after the sweet potato and added that to the salad. I also added some chick peas and goat cheese….sooooo good! Thank you for the inspiration!
Ms. B that salad was everything! YUM! Just as you pulled your "gouter" of mandarin and dark chocolate I was biting into my Lindt Dark Chocolate Intense Orange square - the best combo! I have learned to have a little something to eat while watching your delish Vlogs! Loved the simple one pan chicken roast. Also loved seeing your four paw family member - adorbs. Thanks again for sharing these great recipes!
Aww so glad you enjoyed it! Isn't orange and dark chocolate the best combo?! Ha! And yes little Georgie is the third kid in the house ha! Such a sweet little pal during the day!
I'm so happy that I found your channel. Great videos from both CA and France. You are so right on about the memories of childhood fragrances. My mom was very busy at home, but when I walked in the door and smelled Pinesol, it meant the house was super clean. Times before slow cookers and Instant Pots were smells of roasted chicken, meatloaf, fresh garden veggies...Even though I worked when my own kids were growing up, I always tried to make their coming home a pleasant experience which in the fall meant spiced apple cider in the crockpot and cookies on the counter. Thanks for your many easy to follow and delicious recipes and a peek into your blessed life.
Oh, that salad made me very hungry - but when you started prepping that roast chicken, I was DROOLING! I could just smell it in my mind and it was so Autumn-y and lovely.... thank you for the joy of your content! Sending you and your family so much love and healing re: the loss of your brother. No doubt you focus on celebrating the joy you shared over the years rather than the pain. For me, that was the only way to get through it. My heart is filled with love and gratitude for you after so many years of enjoying your channel Beth. I'm very excited to see what you share as the weather cools and the holidays roll in! Cheers dear one! ✨💛✨
You are the sweetest :) And yes leaning into the JOY of life is the only way to keep going, living and growing. Grief can be so overwhelming taking you down so many rabbit holes, but it's always the JOY that has the power to pull me back up, like a buoy someone throws to you to pull you out of choppy waters ha! :)
I have such wonderful memories of coming home after school and smelling the smells of dinner cooking. I grew up in upstate NY and the long cold walk home from school in the winter was often brutal, but the reward was walking in the front door. It was like a hug of love. Thank you for the trip back in time.
Aww so glad you enjoyed it! After having this channel for 10 years, basically doing the same time of things week after week I think it's time to switch it up a bit ha! Plus shooting and editing on my iPhone is just SO easy!
I loved this! I feel inspired to meal prep now, and as a recent empty nester your comment about creating memories really resonated. Thank you for taking the time to also make "full length" videos, as they are a true treat! Also, thank you for sharing the lovely hand painted screen. So special!
Oh so happy to find this vid! What great and creative version of salad! I am definitely going to do this. With hubs and I working from home, I'm always... "hey, what do ya want for luuuunch?" We're huge foodies and cooks but we do lose creativity in the monotony of every work day. And what a fabulous way to get in extra veggies! I've been challenging us to have plants at every meal and this looks super yummy! Thank you so much for sharing!

You have taught me how to make meals and entertaining so easy. The way that you prep large and small meals is the best. Everyone could learn a lesson from you. You make entertaining fun and relaxing.
Thank You! This is my favorite time of year to organize food prep. New snacks, better lunch choices and such. Hope you are enjoying your time as you settle back into the daily routine!
Me too! I find the "Back-to-school" season is better for "New Routines" over the New Year Resolution Season ha! Seems to work better for the whole family! ha! And yes, happy to be back into our routine! And so is George! Ha! :)

Good evening Beth! Welcome back to the States! Both the salad and roasted chicken with veggies look delicious! Loved seeing George! He looks so sweet and gentle! 💕
Hello Beth, thank you for your video, when I watch you it seems I am looking at a long time friend. Your home in LA looks absolutely beautiful.Miss you while you are in France. Prayers for your brother. Have a fabulous weekend. Xx
Absolutely everything looks delicious. Thank you for the ideas for lunch and snack. It's where I struggle the most. Welcome back home and I'm looking forward to the next video.
Hi Beth! Love your videos, but wish they were much longer!! You have such great ideas and tips. Thank you so much! Oh! Love your Dad’s painted screen. Such a treasure ❤
Your kitchen counters look just as busy as mine! Lol! I wish we could put all of our appliances on the counter, but we only have so much space. So we decided to dedicate space in our pantry for just appliances....and now, because of the extra space that we now have, we filled our counter spaces with kitchen utensils! Lol! So now it’s looking like, we need to make space in our pantry just for that! Only because we now learned that, the look of empty counters in our kitchen, makes it look much cleaner, and less busy. The only time we take appliances out, is when we need to use them. Heavier appliances though, stay on the counter.
Great video Beth! I’ve really been enjoying your videos lately & loved the sentimental screen your dad painted. When I worked on Sanibel I knew your aunt Nancy & met your Dad several times. I know live in Fargo & visit Sanibel yearly.
Oh how fun! I love knowing that! Yes I remember visiting Sanibel as a kid, my sister and I flew down by ourselves at around age 12 and it's one of my most cherished memories. We had a ball! I still remember that powdery sand and all the beautiful seashells I had never seen before growing up with beaches on the Atlantic :)
I just spent the last little bit meal prepping! I ordered all the ingredients last night. The salad dressing is the bomb! First time quinoa cooker… So easy!Cauliflower (cooked in the oven) done! I never would've thought of oregano and it is delicious! Sweet potatoes in the oven house smells like a dream! Thank you for inspiring me to consciously take care of myself this week... love your videos and your Dad!!!
I love what I eat in a day videos. It's given me so many ideas. BTW your cat paper towel holder is so cute! I also love, love your wood screen that your dad made!! Thanks beth!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Yes it's a "Yoga Cat" paper towel holder ha! He's so cute! Even when there aren't paper towels in it! You can find it in this Amazon List I made for the episode :) www.amazon.com/shop/entertainingwithbeth/list/26UXH8GUI2Z1G
Hi Beth, I enjoy all your videos and so thankful for being invited into your home. Your beautiful and friendly personality is a gift. I would like to know where you got your serving platters ( boat like shape small one that you used for tapenade and large bowls ) they are gorgeous. Again, always a pleasure to watch your very helpful and encouraging videos Take good care, and keep smiling.
I’m so very sorry to hear about your brother. I am not on IG, so I didn’t know. I, too, lost my brother to a heart attack at about the same age and it’s devastating. God rewards us with the gift of passing time which allows forgotten memories to gradually return and surprise us and return our smiles to us. It’s a blessing when an ordinary day becomes extraordinary through a resurrected memory. Those are good days. 💕🌸💕 I loved this video every bit as much as I love your videos from France. Your home is so filled with light and the simple beauty of meaningful things! That sweet pirate bat is priceless! And your gardens are gorgeous, of course. Then there’s your kitchen where some of the best fun happens! That chicken with the veggies has me drooling! Roast chicken is one of my favorite things! And I haven’t done one since spring! Time to get cracking! LOL
Aww really Lucinda? I'm so sorry for your loss too. I can't imagine it's something that you ever get over, but nice to know that the passing of time is a salve. And yes the memories are so sweet! He was one of the girl's "favorite people" and he was definitely the "FUNcle In the family showing up to all the bday parties and holidays with bells on, sometimes in outrageous costumes to make them laugh, the Easter Bunny, the Pilgrim, once a sumo wrestler lol! He just had such a funny zest for life that is sorely missed, but the irony is he provided us with so many fun memories that we have a treasure trove of them to laugh about now and enjoy today! So in that sense, he is very much still with us!! Thank you for your kind words! xxoo
Hello Beth, Welcome back and thanks for sharing this slice of your life. I wanted to suggest trying to toast your bread in the air fryer - my daughter uses hers that way with considerable success. And just so you know, your friends in the audience care and send their love and support. Best, Karen
You can toast your bread in the air fryer! It comes out perfectly. Lots of great ideas for meal prep. I'm definitely going to make some quinoa, sweet potatoes and cauliflower for the week.
I was going to suggest that, too! It comes out so perfect - crisp on the outside and still soft-ish on the inside. I did it that way for a couple of years, then bought a combo toaster oven/air fryer so use that now. Still think my plain old air fryer did it best, but it seems crazy to keep it just for the very occasional piece of toast!
Beth you are looking great! Please let me know your skin care routine!!! Thank you for your wonderful videos, recipes and sunny personality; you always cheer me up🤗🤗
I love this video. So many great ideas and take aways. I would enjoy more meal prep and planning videos because you always have an eye on nutrition, plus what's worth the money and why. Great job!!
Hi Beth. Thanks for sharing your day's meals with us. My kids are coming over this weekend, and I am going to make your roasted chicken recipe! It looks so good! Have a great weekend🙂
So jealous of you mustard vinaigrette! (Still in the mist of mustard shortage in France). It made me get creative with vinaigrette: pesto based, tapenade based, only lemon and olive oil, tahini ... but still i miss it very mush! Can’t wait for mustard to be back on the shelves
Oh I'm sure! Love your swaps though! Another thing I was doing was buying the Mayonnaise with Dijon Mustard in it! I was using that for a creamy vinaigrette and it was pretty good ha!
Love your videos Beth.. feels comforting and inspires me to invest more time and effort in home cooking.. btw, Is your dog the same champ who had a fall from roof and had some fractures a couple of years back? He looks good now! Cheers!
Ha yes! That's HIM! The wonder dog! This creature does not take "no" for an answer ha! He was so determined to walk again he just didn't see any other option ha! It's a great reminder of how when we all set our minds to something, miracles can happen! He's the BEST!
I am 83 and used to love to cook and eat. Now I have developed an intense dislike for it. I have to prepare meals seven days a week for my 93 year Old husband who still ha a healthy appetite. Maybe you could suggest a few things for seniors who are going through this problem. Last year I made all of your breakfast cakes, fig, plum, apple, banana. Lost interest this year, too tiring for me. Need help.
Boy, those are great lunch ideas. I’m going to start doing that. Plus I love the roast chicken idea. I make smoothies too. I add almond butter and cinnamon too. Delicious 😍
Oh sure my husband like lentils, and I usually do that swap for him, you can buy them at TJs pre-cooked! Or sometimes I also swap it for cooked rotisserie chicken as well! Hope you enjoy!
I made oatmeal toast last weekend. Watching this video made me want toast and peanut butter. I don't have any free counter space either with my air fryer and mixer and stuff so I keep my small two slice toaster in the cabinet next to my plates. Also on top of the fridge I keep my slow cooker and grill since I don't use them that often. Maybe those can be options for you. 🍞
Here's another Trader Joe's find for you Beth: - hazelnut chocolate biscotti. I love to dunk these in a mixture of milk, sugar and nescafe instant coffee. Beyond delicious!
So inspiring, and you make it all look so easy. And welcome back to the U.S. I don't know how you only spend one month in France! I want to try that salad...
I admire this woman. It is so refreshing to see her be herself. Not a stitch of makeup on in the morning. Just a real human being like all of us. Love it!
Beth, you should be bottled as a stress relief medicine! Your happy, cheerful personality is a tonic.
LOL! Oh Michele that just made me laugh out loud! You are too kind!!
And contagious! Im happy and smiling right now. I just love her❤
Oh, yeah! I’m addicted to Beth for my mental and emotional health. She’s my best friend and doesn’t know it. 🤗 XO
Oh I totally agree, she is the sweetest and kindest ❤

Hi Beth,
I enjoy all your videos and so thankful for being invited into your home. Your beautiful and friendly personality is a gift.
I would like to know where you got your serving platters ( boat like shape small one that you used for tapenade and large bowls ) they are gorgeous.
Again, always a pleasure to watch your very helpful and encouraging videos
Take good care, and keep smiling.
I love your vlogs Beth! Also, I still go back and watch your entertaining at home videos from when I found you years and years ago ☺️
I loved this video every bit as much as I love your videos from France.
Thank you for your kind words! xxoo
So helpful! I made those potatoes, quinoa, and cauliflower! I'am all set for the week.
Beth, I'm really sorry for your loss. You still a loyal fan base who's with you to the end.
Thank you Byron that's so sweet of you to say :) I love this community it's definitely helped me get through the hard times :)
I just came back from vacation and you motivate me to go food shopping which I don't like. 😄😄 thanks for showing those wonderful and simple recipes.
I have the same air fryer and I make my toast in there when I only need one or two pieces. Turns out great!
Hello Beth, Welcome back and thanks for sharing this slice of your life. I wanted to suggest trying to toast your bread in the air fryer - my daughter uses hers that way with considerable success.
And just so you know, your friends in the audience care and send their love and support. Best, Karen
Hello from South Orange County, CA! Enjoyed your vlog! What a lovely home. I thoroughly enjoy your channel.!
Fantastic information and ideas! Thank you! Glad you had a great time in France.
Oh we did! Too much fun ha! Glad to be back and into our fall routines! :)
You can toast your bread in the air fryer! It comes out perfectly. Lots of great ideas for meal prep. I'm definitely going to make some quinoa, sweet potatoes and cauliflower for the week.
I LOVE knowing this! Totally trying it! :) Thank you!!
Airfryer is also great for toasting bread.
Your day meals looked yummy. Soaked chia seeds got nutritional properties and continued hydration. Dried can cause bloating. 🥰
I am enjoying your videos. I like your France vacation videos. Now I am hungry for roast chicken. Thanks.🌻
This was so energizing, fun and heartfelt. Thank you, Beth and welcome home💗
Welcome home Beth. I love your pup. Take care. ❤️
Aww thanks so much :). Yes good to be back and into our routines! And George is so happy to have us back too! Ha! He's the BEST!

This was wonderful! Thank you Beth. I actually toast bread in the airfryer.
Thanks for all the easy yet incredibly scrumptious recipes, Beth! Little marker for me…😅 Delicious oven-roast chicken at 9:54 ❤
I also don't have a toaster BUT an air fryer works pretty well for making toast!!!
Oh it is! This was the quick and easy version! But the original recipe can be found here! th-cam.com/video/_DPgFoDiTvY/w-d-xo.html
@@EntertainingWithBeth Thank you!
Hi Beth! The lunch is 💥 definitely inspired. Love your channel. Love from Maldives
Aww thank you! I had the pleasure of visiting the Maldives years ago and it has always stuck with me! SO beautiful! Just an amazing place!
Hey Beth ,may I say you have a beautiful home 🏘️❤️❤️👌👍🫶✌️
Loved this! More of these please! Welcome back, Beth!
I love that paper towel holder! Very wholesome food 😍
Wait - Meg, Beth, and Joe? I love the Little Women vibes!!!
Ha! Yes! That was one of my Mom's favorite books :)
Thanks for sharing your tips always 😊. What brand balsamic vinegar is that in the cute bottle? Plus it's so thick & looks all kinds of yummy 😋👍
So sorry for your loss🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you Hilda :) I appreciate your kindness :)
One the best recipes for Sweet potato. Thank you very much.
Thanks Beth! I love Trader Joe's, too! So many healthy options to keep meals interesting!!
Aren't they the best?! Seriously what would we do without them!
I have to prepare meals seven days a week for my 93 year
Old husband who still ha a healthy appetite.
Delicious 😍
Thanks so much for the lunch prep ideas. Any suggestions for a substitute for quinoa??
Oh sure my husband like lentils, and I usually do that swap for him, you can buy them at TJs pre-cooked! Or sometimes I also swap it for cooked rotisserie chicken as well! Hope you enjoy!
Yes I love what I eat in day videos. Also salted caramel chef's kiss!!!!
Ha! Me too! :) Missing that French vanilla ice cream too!
Beth , we’re Irish the toaster out on the counter is a most. Loved this blog.
Ha! Yes so true! Love it! :)
Watching this from RI just across the river from Connecticut.
Thank you Beth! Loved this video❤
You can make toast in the air fryer! It can do anything lol.
Also, I'm in love with the little bat and his eye patch. 😭
So happy to see George. He looks like he is doing well.
Here's another Trader Joe's find for you Beth:
- hazelnut chocolate biscotti.
I love to dunk these in a mixture of milk, sugar and nescafe instant coffee. Beyond delicious!
Omg yes please! Cant wait to try those!! 🙌💕
So inspiring, and you make it all look so easy. And welcome back to the U.S. I don't know how you only spend one month in France! I want to try that salad...
Ha! Oh I know it gets harder and harder to come back each year ha! Yes that salad is so yummy! And makes you feel amazing too ha! Hope you enjoy!!
Great video….like the herbs under the chicken skin application.
Bonne journée…..from Camarillo.
Oh yes it's a simple trick that adds a lot of flavor! If you have more time, try it with freshly chopped rosemary! Great that way too :)
Merci
I love these healthy meals. Where can I find the cloth you coveted a bowl with. It looked like a shower cap. Thank you.
Thanks for ideas!
