Pete has always been my biggest influence since I first became aware of his work in the 60's. His bold colors and simplicity of elements seem to creep in to my work - as evidenced by, as an example, my recent shot of the New York Times lobby on my website home page. Pete's a tough act to follow but I'm going to keep trying... He's also a master of composition.
One of the best... and he just passed peacefully yesterday.... goodbye maestro.
