So beautiful and vivid. It's like you can feel the warm lights of the big Christmas Tree and the cityscape taking away the brisk chill from the night air ☺️🎄💛🌃
I love your perception, and it's 💯% true. 😅🙌🏻 Despite being near and, toward video's end, out on the water sort of (via the pier), I didn't feel the chill 'til I was walking a good four, five blocks away from the pier where the Christmas tree stands. That's amazing because it was a gelid evening. The mind, absorbed in the wonder of it all, certainly adds to the bright, warm holiday lighting everywhere.🔥✨️🌃✨️ Your observation and comment have made my day. I think I'll step out of this glum mood that casts clouds over me every year when Thanksgiving is several days away -- because I have no family of my own and don't get invited to Thanksgiving dinners anymore, whereas in the years prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, I received several invitations. Instead, after my cat and I watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade live on TH-cam, I'll pop over to the pier, grab a pumpkin spice latte and sit among the decorations. Although the lights will not be on during the day, the holiday ambience (and a thick sweater beneath my coat) will keep me warm. From route of the parade is a madhouse -- joyful and beautiful, but too many people -- so I stopped going to the big NYC parade decades ago. Besides, it would be my luck if I were to ve in the vicinity of a "super-spreader" and then be dead by next week. No thanks.😒 In other news (lol), the McDonald's McRib has succumbed to shrinkflation. I can't complain, though, because, by taking the resto's survey and entering the validation code on my receipt, I got a BOGO deal: two McRibs cost me only $5.09. Now, just across the Hudson, one McRib must be close to eight bucks.😲 Thank you again for your insightful, warm comment.✨️🟣✨️🟡✨️🟢✨️🔴✨️☺️💖✨️🟠✨️
It's incredible how even feeling temperature is a state of mind. If we see something that has the glow of warmth, or think about something hot and fiery long enough, we can trick our bodies into thinking that there is indeed a source emitting heat. The mind is an incredible thing 😊🧠 I'm glad my comment made your day and helped cast away the gloom of Thanksgiving. I understand how you feel in regards to holidays. If it weren't for my mother and brother, I wouldn't see any family during special occasions. I hope you and Maurice had a nice Thanksgiving together and enjoyed a good ol' pumpkin spice latte 😉 Yeah, with the amount of people who cough or sneeze without covering their faces, I would be hesitant to go in a big crowd too. It's shocking how inconsiderate some people can actually be. I saw an ad over here announcing that the McRib is coming back. I've never had the pleasure of trying one before. There's always a first time for everything, if I can afford it, lol 😆 You're welcome. It was a joy to watch. I wish you a wonderful day 😊✨💛
