      Are you into the pastels? Yes or no?

    I ordered the dress in the “Autumnal Paisley” print, I love the pinks and browns together, and love the contrasting (brown?) piping. I know I will wear this dress so much in autumn and spring, with brown leather boots (I wear skirt outfits or dresses nearly every day). I’m so tempted to get the skirt in this print, too, so I can wear pink or brown tops with it! I love traditional patterns like this, tapestry patterns, baroque patterns, etc.

    I love the new drop but I'm coming into spring season so the greens and muted pinks will be perfect and their blouses are always on point,I'm obsessed.

      @@BriLamberson No I feel as though their collections are very European centric but it works for me.I can get some great last chance items to wear straight away or get organised for the season turn around

      @@ladypsrn5218so cool! Glad it’s working out in your favor. The spring colors can really work well for the southern hemisphere folks.

    After eying for quite long time I received yesterday my first jewellry piece fro Sezane, which is their Constance ring and can say it is so delicate, beautiful and looks very well-made. I am really happy with the quality and fit, so I hope other jewellry they make is like that as well.

      Wonderful! That’s so exciting to hear. I’ve made my first earring purchase and am excited to see what they’re like in person.

    Classic styles will always be around, thank goodness; but, I'm not a fan of trying to overlap every season. That's one of the great things about tradition; bright pastels in Spring, rich fall colors in Autumn. Thanks for covering the collection!!!

      Thanks mama. We need a shopping trip in Paris. What did you think about the candy striper shirt?

    I don’t intend to buy anything but I love this kind of videos, as i like to get inspired by their collection ❤ Regarding the spring colors i think these pieces are created for the Australian market as its spring there. It’s genius and i never noticed other brands doing that.

      Ooo! Love your take Sandrine. That's a great observation. And thank you so much for your support with this kind of video on my channel. It means a lot to me. I'm saving up for the corduroy suit and new boots!

    I really love bright flower prints so I had to order the new chuck. Also love the martin trousers and I ordered the pink and grey one. The pink pastel sweater they paired with martin I really love, just the composition for the price is 😮. I really can't wait for the bomber jacket but I saw a different photo of it and it looks very muted pink. Wish Sezane would drop the over the top filters and go back to better compositions with lesser drops😊

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Amazing! Those were so fun. If you’ve not yet tried the Martin you’re going to love it. 🥰 I’m planning a trip to Paris soon and will compare the in person colors to the photos. Have you ever had a chance to shop in person at a Sézane store?

    Brianna - were you able to grab the Ralph jacket in check? It was already gone by the time I got there :-( I am spying the matching check martin trousers though. Curious if you have those and I see they are unlined. I wonder how itchy that would be.

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! I decided to wait to get it although I was up at 2:30 that morning. Haha. Those Martin trousers are divine if you’re on the fence. I love them. The grey ones are for sure lined so it prevents itching. Ever so slightly adds bulk while still being comfortable. I adore these pants.

    I love many of the pastels Sezane is offering, but they do feel more like spring colors. We have a long, cool spring where I live, so that would work for me, I should get them while they’re available. But, I’ve already been spending a lot there on more traditional autumn colors, it’s hard to resist! Pastels are just my most flattering colors, anyway. I’ve longed for one of their floral sweaters, but they all have high necks, which I don’t want. I prefer modest V-necks, but they rarely make any V-necks at all, and those they do make are cut far too low for my short torso.

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s so cool! Definitely hard to resist while they’re there for the taking. Although I bet when spring rolls around Sézane will be offering even more exciting pieces.

    Have to be honest . The fall pastels aren't my thing but those loafers are great .

      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh dang. They are cute aren’t they? We admire from afar! Yes the pastels are beautiful but not something I wear at all really. My hope is that they release more classic staples. Do you have anything from them on your wishlist that you can wear?

  • @sparklie962
    @sparklie962 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I was disappointed frankly. I wanted desperately to like something but I'd hoped for more classic fall colours like navy, garnet, chocolate brown etc. I am also not a massive fan of polyamide or viscose - so struggled to find any pieces I'd want even if available in one of my preferred colours. Not sure I've seen cotton blended with polyamide outside of the world of socks before.

    • @shawnnap59
      @shawnnap59 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      D'oh me too! My room mate and I woke up early to log in right when the pieces went live but nothing appealed. We both were just scrolling and scrolling. Luckily there are a few of their staple pieces that I haven't picked up yet and might do now. If the James jumper comes back in ecru - or if they ever make it in a solid navy - I'll definitely snag that!

      I hear you. I’m hoping for more classic fall and winter colors soon. Those are just so lovely. Have you checked out LOFT in the US? I’m planning on doing a whole video about it. I’ve been trying to find good quality dupes on POSHMARK too. Do you shop at either place?

    I have bought earrings from Sezane twice. Both sets I wear very often and I truly love their vibe (they are these resin-type chunky colourfull earrings that they sometimes make). Problem is they give me bad skin irritation/ reaction and I have to take them off after a few hours (not suitable for all-day, everyday wear). I think this has to do with both the material (ie that it is not gold) and the weight.

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! That’s so cool. I made my first jewelry purchase from them.
      Thanks so much for sharing your experience with their jewelry. I wonder if the resin jewelry isn’t 14k gold. The site says they use gold plated pewter for their fancier pieces. I’ve heard that plated jewelry can cause irritation for some. What do you think?

    • @dalia2122
      @dalia2122 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BriLamberson Well, one of the pairs is the Charlie earrings which are supposed to be gold-plated. Indeed, most gold-plated earrings irritate me, not sure why this happens. Lately, I prefer to save for solid gold pieces but the Sezane jewellery is too pretty to resist. I hope you enjoy your purchase!

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok good to know about those earrings. It’s genetic. Some people are more sensitive to non-Nobel metals. Unless it’s stainless steel. Bronze, nickel, or pewter is irritating to your skin even if gold plated. Can you wear silver?

    • @dalia2122
      @dalia2122 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BriLamberson Indeed I can, even though I don't like it as much as gold :)Btw, I also loved the Bilma shirt. I ordered it and waiting for it to arrive!

    For a French company, their style as shown here does not look very French/Parisian or timeless, I don't like any of the pieces, and the colours don't appeal either

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      So sorry to hear you’re not into any of it. What did you think about the Bilma and Honey tops? Or the Ralph jacket? I think those are super classic and Parisian. The pastels were throwing me off too.

    • @sparklie962
      @sparklie962 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BriLamberson Like @luluandmeow I didn't like this one either a whole lot. That said, the honey top was very pretty - was not surprised to see it sell out. The checked Ralph jacket looks great, but for me too much synthetic in the mix - not a fan of how wool-synthetic blends wear/look over time. It's weird as the black version is 100% wool and looks gorgeous in the closeups. Sadly it's a bit too long for my frame otherwise I'd have seriously considered it.

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good eye on the Ralph jacket. That’s super surprising to me that they didn’t use 100% wool. I’m so looking forward to their winter collections.

    Leather clothing is an investment, I wouldn’t buy these suede/leather clothes in trendy, unusual colors. Just my personal opinion, sorry to those who love them. I adore the taupe suede skirt I got from Sezane recently, it’s a neutral that won’t become outdated, unlike some of the bright-colored leather items they are introducing now.

    • @BriLamberson
      @BriLamberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally agree! It is a bold choice. But if you really really love it, then it could a great statement piece.
