I also tried to temper with the Object Style, and changing the linestyle. However, when I load it into another family, the line comes back~ Maybe there's no way to remove that line? XD
You can probably hide the edge line under graphical setting. Quite often the join tool will not work when there are curved faces and tangent faces involved.
Good videos, help me a lot :). Is there any way to rotate the apring's axis, put an inclination? When I use the family in my project, I can't rotate it :(
Try this: Edit the family, uncheck Always Vertical, check Work Plane Based, place this family onto a reference plane, then you can rotate the reference plane instead.

at 4:14 I seem to cannot create sweep/blend. Do you have any idea what's going on? I tried to follow your step closely. Using revit 2018 btw
