You should have included the disclaimed that you were given these for review by the company in the introduction. I watched the whole 10 minutes just to hear that at the very end - it calls into question the honesty of the review for me, as reviewers tend to lean more positively to increase the chance of receiving further review units.
Buyers complained about the feature where these speakers get into a power saving state when no sound and it takes them a couple of seconds to come out of that mode once sound is detected again. How much of a problem is this really?
Have you compared them with the BX3 of the same brand? Could it be that the BX3 is more neutral because of the "smaller" woofer/midrange, thus less boomy. Thanks 4 yr input!
Hi Walter, Unfortunately I did not have the chance to. However since you have the EQ knobs on the back of the BX4 you can dial back the woofer as much as you want or need.
Hi thanks a lot for this great review. I purchased a edifier D12 because I do not got so much room on my desk and people quiet happy about it but I don't. Sound restitution is not really natural. It's seem that Mackie CR4 or this M-Audio bx4 could fit on my desk and their seem quite good sounding speaker. If I understood well you loved Mackie CR4 but it seems that you love m-audio much more. Is that the one you recommend if you got to choose between the 2 ? Thanks a lot for your answer. I got less than 1 weeks if I want to return edifier D12. Thanks in advance for your help Best regards Cedric
Did your pair of BX4's have a volume control issue? The set i just bought (and returned) when the volume was set at absolute minimum, the passive speaker was still giving a clearly audible output.
Your review was very well done. Informative and touched on all the points of this speaker. Question: can a sub woofer be used in conjunction with these or would it even be necessary? Thanks and keep up the good work.
Thank you very much for this awesome feedback! Very happy to hear that you liked the review. 👍 As far as I know it is not possible to connect a subwoofer to the speakers, for me personally this is not necessary though since for my usage the bass is nice enough without one.
I have used a subwoofer with studio monitors before. I had a 3.5mm cable running from my PC to the subwoofer, which was connected to the speakers. So yes, it is possible.
Hi, thank you for watching. Unfortunately I have not used the Person is yet so I can't give you a direct comparison. I can only say that I am still really enjoying the BX4.
I'm not sure why M-Audio went down from 5" BX5's to this 4.5" except for cost reduction. I refuse to buy anything less than 5".i have the bx5 d2 and would rather have the D3s.
Thank you very much for watching! If you have any questions about these speakers I am here to answer them. 😀
are these speakers bi-amped?

Can u recommend this for Trap, Hip hop, I mean basically for 808 Bass genres ?
Yes I think they are a good choice for that. 👍
Which one is better for music production for entry level producer? this or pioneer dm40?
I was not aware of the pioneer yet. They certainly look interesting.

Hello, m-audio ? vs Alesis ? thank you

Why not mentioned they turn off by themselves after half a minute of no sound????? Do you consider that flawless????????????

Not that I am aware of unfortunately. This Friday I have a new speaker review coming up where this is possible.

I bought them to connect to my 2i2 also! They will arrive in a couple of days... pretty sure they are made for it.

@@MACODJ oh yes brand new
@@TechnikLoftde Visit my channel and studio
Is it profitable to buy them for this price?
It is definitely worth it. You are not going to make profit with them though.
Alguien habla español?
No one picture about how they are connected to your Mac ... hm.
Why should I show the chinch cable...? That's not really interesting.
@@TechnikLoftde If not, why im asking about it? 😁
Good one 🤣. I just used the included chinch cable and it worked flawlessly 😁
ok nice video
Thank you
