You can tell a great deal about a society by the way it treats pets/animals, children, the elderly, the sick and the needy. Currently, our society bites the big one and this group is taking a huge step to take a bite out of the disaster we have created for ourselves.
They're treating Veterinary clinics like hospitals now with all the red tape that only increases the cost. Oh, but they're coming to the rescue now with overly priced medical insurance for your pet that probably won't cover whatever problem that arises. The ONLY reason I don't have a dog right now is because I can't afford one if something went awry. We're still paying off credit card debt from our last two who required ICU care a few times. I hope organizations like this are able to spread everywhere. What a GREAT cause!

Wow amazing, 👏👏👏 My Daughters beautiful little Yorkshire terrior our Lily just turned 13 a few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with a tumour last week, the vet opened her up and sew her back up again and told my daughter that to take home, that they couldn't do anything for her, she got a second opinion and Lily had a scan had the tumor and womb removed and is recoving nicely thank God, it's cost €2,500 they had to have the money up front 🙈🙈🙈 I always say, I couldn't have a dog, I'd be terrified, I couldn't afford the vet Bill's. We lost 3 of our beautiful family dog's in 2022 Tilly had dementia and went blind, she had to be put asleep 15 year's old and her partner in crime Lady Penelope died 3 week's later of a broken heart both Yorkshire Terrior's my Son his wife and 2 daughters and the whole family was defistated. Then 3 month's after that, my other Daughters dog Jenny was rescue dog, she was a terrior got very ill and passed away very quickly, we could not believe it losing the 3 dog's all together so so sad... I had to put my soulmate dog down before the vet could even ID the issue because the bill kept growing for tests and she was in pain However, the seeming apathy of that vet here in Vegas and her seeming lack of curiosity as to the issues made it even worse. it was like she was just ticking boxes and not. thinking. I'll always be haunted by my choice under pressure and wonder if vets like these, well enough a great organization, would have made a difference. Thank you for the work Emancipet does and to the film makers who put the story out there.
