I picked this up way back. After talking with some friends about making this blaster better they told me that it could take about a 7kg longshot spring upgrade (the catch parts may need reinforcement in my opinion but once you unbutton it take a picture of the internals so you don't spend an hour looking on google for blurry internals photos like I did.) and 3D print your own grip. The grip, IMO, can be easily changed out but you must include a spring peg as that is part of how it attaches to the grip from the blaster. While I would love to see some custom 3D bits for the Bulldog from Foam Pro Shop, I don't think it would be a good investment. But this is a good HvZ blaster like Drac mentioned so Endwar ready out of the box? Yeah after some love is put in.

Minus the mangler so far the halo line gives me some semblance of hope for hasbro. Even my love of halo aside, both the bulldog, and ma40 have been much better than many of their other blasters lately. Also Drac the Bulldog is the Shotguns replacement in Halo Infinite.

It's a shame you can't really take the drum on and off easily since that's how it's reloaded in-game
It would be cool if it came with an extra drum so there's actually a purpose for it to be removable
The Aeon Pro is $100 and the Bulldog $40, here in Australialand! A spring upgraded Bulldog with a new pump grip sounds good though.
I have heard, that this one can be upgraded pretty well vs. Most current nerf offerings, however I have not done it myself

As a modder, an AR removal, 7KG Retaliator spring, seal improvement, lock removal, and brassed barrels, will be in order. Should fire out 90-100FPS, and also shotgun load half lengths~

😬 Bulldog SG has been out for almost a year. I actually got it in store in October before the MA40, which I ordered in July, came in November.
As for picking for “this holiday season” 😬 They seem to be getting harder and harder to find, so good luck with that.
these designs are pretty good asthetics. I like this design
I bought one, and overall really like it. But that crunchy indexing to load it is unpleasant, lol. I keep hoping that someone will make a 3d printable pump grip, since I drop in replacement shouldn't be too hard.

Depending on your play of style this would be a good scavenger because of the exposed chamber. I'd legit rock this alongside a minimized stryfe smg thing so i can still have a primary if i run out... Idk its kind of a neat platform. I could see it holding power well, like a biggo spring.
I like how the bulldog sounds like a real shot gun. Unlike some other blasters out there

The drum maybe smaller then non prop pumpers, since you can tap the drum out and put another one in, if you could get spares, it could be worth it
For the Nerf DG’s, this one is not the best, nor not the worst. It definitely is better then the Shockwave, but just not beating the Surgefire. If anything it’s the price that might stop people from getting this. But overall, not disappointing. The second blaster has a clean look! Sort of looks like a Hera. Watch your step! Great Review! I do quite like this blaster. The colour scheme and form look really cool, and I think it could be modified to something really nice. I noticed that there are a few barrels in the cylinder that have their backs exposed out the side of the blaster, making it really easy to use a rear-loading short-dart mod, and I don't think it would be hard to cut the pump grip and attach some picatinny rail. Thanks for the video Drac! 🧡💚🤍
P.S. As for the new Banned Blaster, it looks a lot better with the short-dart only magwell, looking forward to seeing its release!

The only modification I want from this bulldog blaster is to make the 10 darts barrel easy to remove. Like in the game when to relaod. You have to remove the barrel and add a new one.

Drac…just like the MA40, and the red pistol i forgot the name of, its from Halo: Infinite
Not sure if this is a issue for the revolver style drum fed blasters but my bulldog has an issue cycling the drum when I rack the slide, sometimes it just won't rotate and other times it will fail to fire the dart. Is there a way anyone would know how to fix this?

I like that blaster
This bulldog sg is give you a good work out. It drains you out fast because pumping keep your hands tires. Plus it's heavier compare to the ma40. Sometimes moving to fast makes it stick. But it not bad. If you want a good workout. Buy bulldog sg. If u a lazy shooter. Buy the ma40 electric battery operated and super lighter than the sg.
what would your opinion on dart zone releasing a bullpup flywheeler be?

@@ConnorM2007 dart zone/adventure force is there own brand, they don't copy nerf and they just make much better quality products. they'll be the #1 dart blaster brand soon once more people see how much better they are than nerf.

I think the grip is one part because a rail would make a foregrip easy to slide off when pumping.
Yeah I was thinking how would a rail work with pumping there drac? He apparently doesn't think things through all the way at times
COULD YOU ADD A REAL LASER POINTER . THE ONE THAT BURNS WITHOUT CAP. BUT WITH CAP SHINES REALLY FAR. Does it have something to easily add that where nerf have the extra attachment holder pieces on the side.
My only wish is that it was mega for a slug style cause it doesn't shoot multiple projectiles

So bummed the Banned Blasters crowdfund is DOA. Granted, it's not really my aesthetic, but a 200fps injection molded flywheeler for $80 was a super compelling prospect.

I do wish that Banned Blasters would offer a full-length version, this is gonna be controversial, but I wanna be able to use all my ammo!
I get it but I also understand why they decided to just stick to half-lengths. The accuracy performance is way better with 1/2s and the speeds they're able to get are incredible. It keeps it simpler and allows them to focus resources on things like the variable speed setting!
