Way too expensive for a player who has one good year under his belt. There have been tons of players who peaked one year just to disappear for the rest of their career. Risking 55 to 65m on Solanke is nuts.

With regards to the signings, Solanke and Neto are decent players if we get both, however, were they the best options for spending money? I think a bigger impact could have been had with a Toney and Eze signing. The concern with Neto is I hope he is not another Sessegon with regards to injuries. For the starting line up I do not think Gray is ready to start. In the last 2 games against higher competition, Gray was exposed especially concerning his passing. He is one for the future but needs work. Otherwise, Neto, Solanke, and Son to me would be the strongest starting frontline we could put out.
Can someone help me with this. Pedro Neto's best season was 20/21, he played 31 games, scored 5 goals and got 6 assists and everyone wants him. Brennan Johnson got 5 goals and 10 assists in 32 games and a lot of our fans think he's crap. Sorry just don't get it.
If Neto & Solanke and a DM is signed then its a good window and with the kids improving for first team placings this could be a good season for Spurs. The main point is that Spurs as a squad will be stronger this season if we sign these players.

Gray, Sarr, and Bissouma aren't DM's they aren't good enough there! The other Premier League teams have already worked out the blueprint for how to beat Spurs. O'Neil, Howe, and Kompany have all shown the way how to do it. At the moment, in the centre of midfield going forward, we have Le Celso, Skipp, Sarr, Bissouma, Son, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Maddison, Bergvall, and supposedly, Gray. Although, I thought that Gray was best suited down the right at RB, RM, and RAW. Some of the issues we have is that Son hasn't been playing well last season down the left cutting inside onto his right foot. He's better suited down the centre of midfield, Same goes for Kulu on the other side. Sarr goes missing 1 in every 3 games he's too inconsistent. Bissouma is at his best when he is allowed the freedom to move forward into free spaces. Unfortunately, Bissouma is also very inconsistent he is easily quieted down by someone marking him. Maddison hasn't even turned up for preseason so far his performances have been lacklustre at best. Johnson is just a glorified Celtic player who's also very inconsistent!
