I have personally gone through something VERY similar and wished somebody did something to help us, even if they just yelled something. It was my daughter and I, and it happened in public, too. We were surrounded by people, and nobody did anything!!!! They just stood there watching, and listening, and recording while myself and my 9-year-old daughter were sexually assaulted! This man DID NOT care one bit that there was an "audience" of people all around! We we're waiting for our bus and there were five other people at the bus stop with us. Each and every person waiting at the same stop as us were men! And that's not mentioning how many people were standing across the street waiting for a bus in the opposite direction. He said a lot of other foul things and then proceeded to grab both of us in an area that you don't touch! Needless to say, my daughter was traumatized, but I was too! He beat the boyfriend up real bad. Police showed up around the same time as the paramedics.
Girlfriend tells the police they were attacked by this guy who had the knife. (later proven to be a lie)
