His placement on the road, the lines thru the bends etc etc. For instance, just some examples: 0:53 - Not using the entire road, keeping in the middle of the road instead of all the way to the right. Something that's consistent thru out the vid. 1:02 - WTF?! Rossi wannabee? Come on, seriously - dragging the boot... Please. Let's not talk about the exit... Wrong side of the road with NO margins to correct for oncoming traffic. 1:11 - Same thing as 0:53. Not utilising the entire road and has the wrong line thru the bend. 1:54 - Clearly overcooks it into this bend. Too much rear brake. If he was showing off he totally failed as the line, again, was all wrong. 2:20 - Again with the boot... 2:39 - Almost crashed... Clearly stressed by you being behind. That's not the tell signs of an experienced rider, quite the contrary. My2C
Marco Martins I’m not saying he should turn into oncoming traffic. I’m saying that he should use all the road that’s available to him - by staying as far to the right right as possible for a left hand bend. As the rider following is doing. The rider in front initiates the turn from the middle of his lane. Wasting a lot of road he could’ve used to straighten the turn with (by being able to have a wider arch).
You have right in some parts, he dosen't use all the road on his side. He stay in the middle that happen when you don't ride more often. The thing with the boot its not what do you think. If you look closer you see he drags the boot in the tarmac to see if its wet (traction) or wet (slippery). in the this road some corner have wet parts.
I have tested both bikes the mt 10 feels like a exactly like a r1 except you feel more confident because of the handlebars but after 12k rpm the motor is locked the r1 gives power till 14k rpm...
Usually when you put foot down means lack of confidence specially on this case it used to happen to me when trying to take a turn above my limits . safe riding !!
R1 rider was holding up the MT10 for the most part and that guy has no talent. More concerned hanging his leg out in the breeze and shit positioning! Classic case of more money than talent!

I would love to know, how the MT-10 handles the lack of wind protection? I see that you are riding 170+ but you are perfectly fine. I used a MT-09 once and the wind was uncomfortable at 120 km/h. Do you get used to it?
its pretty gnarly if you go over a hill. i took mine to road america and they have that super long straight with a big hill and you come over the top at like idk 130 + depending on your bike and on the MT it feels like you are going to be pulled into space. but you'd be pretty surprised how low you can get on it if you want. but yeah you get use to it, i kinda like it now, it almost feels like you are going faster because of the wind rush. plus i mean a new wind shield is like less than 200$ i think Also im talking about miles per hour. 150 mph feels pretty crazy on it but i like it. the sound alone is worth ti
I have a question to mt10sp owners, can You please explain to me how quickshifter works? I mean i have never had bike with QS and i'm afraid i will broke it or mine is already broken.. I have tryied to use it couple of times and when i ride normally in mid revs, it works perfectly but when i go like on this video and try to shift up in high end revs, quickshifter won't change gear.. It tryies to shift up but stays in the same gear.. Is it some rev limiter to not brake gearbox or mine QS is broken so it won't shift up in high rpm??

I know the guy on the R1 is a friend. At the 11:30 mark a slow truck is missed...it wasn't super close, but it was unnecessary. If I was in my sports coming around the same spot as the truck your friend would have hit me. I would have been doing 140-150kph and he wouldn't have even seen me coming. He's not leaning the bike. He thinks hanging his body out in the wind is working...it's not. Lean angle is speed...if you can't lean it over you're fighting an uphill battle. Ride safer R1 dude:) MT-10 looked pretty good...I wasn't on the ride, so I can't be to judgemental. It just looked very unsafe for R1 dude. My motto is stay in my lane at all cost. Even if there's no cars coming...I'm 99% of the time staying in my lane. All my riding buddies cut the corners and go into the other lane...but they are sure there's no cars coming. They cut corners to try and keep up with me...:)

You and your mate on the r1 rely on the front brake way to much, fronts there for slowing down for the corner, then use the rear to put yourself were you wanna be in the and during the corner. Just a tip

O da R1 tem de ter mais calma.. menos perninha de fora, menos cenário e mais cabeca i atencao no que vai a fazer nao é por o amigo ir a atras a filmar que tem de ir como se na houvesse amanha. nas curvas é terrivel, entra mal nelas, sai mal delas com calcas de ganga ainda pra mais meu deus amigo tens de ter mais juizo, metes umas calcas da alpinestars ligadas ao casaco que levas, umas botas á patrao, reduzes a velocidade em 30 ou 40 km/h daquilo que ias a fazer (i ja vais a andar muito para a estrada que é), poes o joelhinho no chao e nao corres tanto risco de te aleijar a ti nem aos outros nem estragar essa beldade que levas nas maos e assim ja curtides umas valentes curvas. O amigo da MT consegue conduzir mais limpo nao e preciso se admirar visto as diferencas das motos na conducao i na estrada que voces andam mas que nao seja por isso que tenhem de mostrar um ao outro o que valem, cabeca rapazes. Fora isso grande som das vossas maquinas, sc project quer'me parecer pelo menos na R1, que tenhais muita sorte com elas e que aproveiteis ao maximo o ano com as vossas meninas. Thats not normal.. the QS works better with wideopen throttle in any rpm range. Or the bike have something wrong or its the QS

Do you apply enough pressure to the gear lever? Try to test other QS from a friend or other bike
at the end you can clearly see what difference aerodyanamics can make

O da R1 tem de ter mais calma.. menos perninha de fora, menos cenário e mais cabeca i atencao no que vai a fazer nao é por o amigo ir a atras a filmar que tem de ir como se na houvesse amanha. nas curvas é terrivel, entra mal nelas, sai mal delas com calcas de ganga ainda pra mais meu deus amigo tens de ter mais juizo, metes umas calcas da alpinestars ligadas ao casaco que levas, umas botas á patrao, reduzes a velocidade em 30 ou 40 km/h daquilo que ias a fazer (i ja vais a andar muito para a estrada que é), poes o joelhinho no chao e nao corres tanto risco de te aleijar a ti nem aos outros nem estragar essa beldade que levas nas maos e assim ja curtides umas valentes curvas. O amigo da MT consegue conduzir mais limpo nao e preciso se admirar visto as diferencas das motos na conducao i na estrada que voces andam mas que nao seja por isso que tenhem de mostrar um ao outro o que valem, cabeca rapazes. Fora isso grande som das vossas maquinas, sc project quer'me parecer pelo menos na R1, que tenhais muita sorte com elas e que aproveiteis ao maximo o ano com as vossas meninas. Ps: nao sei se nao seria melhor desfocar a matricula

I feel like the guy on the r1 is really tensed up he fast but more likely to crash. Guy on the mt10 is quick as hell while being relax.
I agree. He was hesitant especially when leaning the bike into corners. Ride within your ability and the speed will increase naturally.

sinto bue que o teu amigo da R1M ainda está um bocado preso em termos de movimentos nas curvas, abre demasiado as curvas. Eu acho que é pelo facto de estar com calças de ganga, em vez de calças com proteção. Faz iemnsa diferença dando te mais confiança para as curvas
Ele ja nao andava a muito tempo talvez falta de confiança e de se recordar das curvas. E sim andar sem fato e sem raspar joelho no chao e complicado

E so um aparte,a malta que fala em alargar trajectorias etc.. nao tem mesmo noção da velocidade que voces vao,porque para no video aparecer assim faço ideia ao vivo 😁 e para a traseira da r1 abanar daquela maneira nas travagens..... Esta tudo dito
Sim e vdd no video nao da para ter noção da velocidade e do grau da cruva. Como a camera esta a gravar em modo Superwide parece uma estarada mais aberta.
