I would argue that the Hail Mary was less luck and more a prepared offense seeing an opportunity and capitalizing on it. Luck is still a piece of the puzzle, but it’s much less than what people think.
J5s mindset is work work work, focus on getting better, and be prepared on game day. Unless he suddenly gets lazy, which I seriously doubt, the Most Valuable Player Award will be his to lose.
I've been semi retired/self employed(consulting and chilling)... well, I went back to work full time recently and signed up for OT Sunday noght(before they got flexed into 4pm). I was at work. I was watching the score at work. I checked and it was 15-12 with 2 seconds left. I assumed it was over. Imagine how it felt to go to break and watch the highlights. I haven't missed 5 games in my life. I'm 51. Of course i missed the best regular season game in team history. I'm not even mad. I have watched the last 2 minutes about 100 times since then.
We have season tickets and have been to all the home games this year. BUT we decided to give away these tickets, thinking Jayden wasn't gonna play. Imagine our surprise when he did. AND the winning play happened right in front of our section. 😫😫😫 But I'm still so happy. Like you, I've watched that play probably 100 times now from various angles/perspectives.
Im sooooo glad jayden is qb1 and is improving as well as Washington they still continue to be amazing and im happy about this turnaround fr glad we won 6-2 is amazing 🎉😊🙏👏👏 hope we keep winning this is phenomenal
That Hail Mary was so euphoric!!!! I’ve never seen it work for the commanders in any era. It’s the biggest commanders play and one of the biggest plays In Washington football history. We (the players and coaches) have to be emotionally ready for the giants, since the play is all that’s been discussed by everyone (including here)!!!! The Hail Mary is memory I can tell my kids about (if i have any).
Love the Hail Mary trust me it’s the greatest sports moment I’ve ever seen live. But we need to shift our focus on New York this is a huge division game and they have nothing to lose. Let’s focus up and drown out the media.
the only thing i'll say to refute what Fred Smoot said is that when Kyler Murray threw that hail mary to Deandre Hopkins a few years ago, everybody talked about D Hop, not Kyler. lol
The refs sukked. On defense we held CW and the vaunted WRs, TE, RB to 4-10, 36 yards for 3Q until defense finally tired out. The TD run by Bears had 2 block from behind on the 45 yard line (our #1 and #54) they didn't call with the ref right there on the 45, yet two long throws by us called back for olinemen over the LOS, like that had anything to do with the play. On the long catch by McLaurin, Stevenson speared McLaurin (feet left the ground), helmet-to-helmet that should have been 15 yards inside the 20, and maybe even throw TS out of the game, again not called. And the Ertz TD catch; he caught the ball, feet down, play over, yet they say ground causing ball to move meant no catch. Refs tried to give the Bears that game, but we never quit.
Since you guys are former players, maybe y'all can help me understand why Zach Ertz catch in the end zone wasn't a touchdown? The rule, as I understood it, is if the receiver doesn't have control of the ball before stepping out end zone it's not a TD. The other rule must have control of the ball when both feet hit ground in end zone. So, explain to me, please, why Ertz caught the ball in the end zone, the defender tackles him to the ground and he still has possession of the ball ( the ball never hits the ground), but it's not a touchdown? Because in super, super slow motion; the ball may have move a little bit, which means he never lost possession of the ball! The ball never hit the ground until the defender knocked it out of Ertz hands!
Hey guys! Talking about Jayden keeping it going/finishing what he started, I have heard some talk about Kliff falling off in his years in AZ. Are yall concerned about offensive fall off? Should we be worried about play calling on the back half of the year?
These guys are sooooo ignorant! Jayden threw from the 35 and ball was snapped from the 48. Had they not gained 12 yards on play before, then Jayden would have thrown from about 1 yard behind line of scrimmage and throw would have been same exact length.
I’ve been sleeping for 2 months cause this must be a dream. HAIL
I agree. I don’t know how to feel, but with each win it’s getting easier
Nahhhhhh brother you are vividly awake this is real lol 😂#httr

I truly believe that Hail Mary toss up is the turning point of the season!!
Wouldn't call it a turning point.... we were 5-2, not 2-5.
Im sooooo glad jayden is qb1 and is improving as well as Washington they still continue to be amazing and im happy about this turnaround fr glad we won 6-2 is amazing 🎉😊🙏👏👏 hope we keep winning this is phenomenal

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS
9:50 That was 2001 Smoot. We were 0-6 and finished the season 8-8. That Lavar play flipped our season.
When tana was talking about jeremy chinn and said “that riddell is on youuuu” i lost it cause nah fr😂😂😂😂
HTTH...Hail 2 Tha HailRaiserz....Hail Mary....HTTR...

OMG, Feed Smoot is hilarious!
You all are making me laugh so hard I am crying!!!😂😂😂❤
Tana has at least 2 of the 4 Mount Rushmore moments in the modern Skins era.
He did number one against the hated Cowboys in their home.
Santana, 2 tds against Dallas number one for me
HAIL!!!
Fred is a national treasure
These three are so good together Fred knows how to improv as a matter of fact they all do 🏈🏈💯
Ken Huston stopping running back at 1 yd line with 5 sec left in the game on Monday night, Howard Cosell and Don Meredith calling the game!
Luck=when preparation and opportunity meets...our Commander's were prepared when the opportunity arose 🫡
Riggins run for the win in the SB is #1. It was our first Super Bowl and that play put the trophy on the shelf.
I Love my team DC win or Lose 🎉🎉🎉

"Luck is the residue of design." I forgot who said it first. Credit to you!
It should be named “Taunt Gone Grong” or “Stephenson Apology” or Gift. So we can’t taunt him for life
❤❤❤😂😂Love you guys!
First 👍hail Victory
‘Go head and beep dat.’ *Tana voice lol
Division games always tough!!Hopefully defense set the tone n offense follow
Can’t believe the coach said that😂😂
Great show first time lister/viewer
I was there in 2012 for that 72 yard Robert Griffin run versus the Vikings!
Penix and JJ haven't even played yet too which is crazy
Didn't realize Jd5 was 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage..
the only thing i'll say to refute what Fred Smoot said is that when Kyler Murray threw that hail mary to Deandre Hopkins a few years ago, everybody talked about D Hop, not Kyler. lol
I like that hat Tana-Man 💯
DQ- I’ll take this is a Statement game to show the division- the East is OURS! - to go

It would be so nice to beat the giants twice in a year...❤
HTTR!!!
What no hating Jason 😮
Giants should have never got rid of their running back.

After chiefs 13 secs anything’s possible
The oline was susceptible to quick movement by Giants defenders causing false starts in RZ. Hope they fixed that.
Logan is my boy but him and Craig was on the Drake train before the draft.
Logan had JD as #2 behind Caleb - you can check out his podcast "Ticket to the Draft" where he talked about that extensively leading up to the draft.
Noahs ARC………
Against Dallas Cowgirls
Its the Noah's arc
Noah's arc is my favorite but it's gotta be The Maryland Miracle after Jim Nantz screamed it's a miracle

Jayden was asked what was his key to play, he mentioned making sure not to throw the ball out the back of the end zone.
