Avaricios needs to do some magical research to create a Lisian-themed mask of infravision/secret door detection/increased wisdom/detect nearest adult beverage
Jon made “goblins conversing with a demon” seem more wholesome than whatever is going on with this Mother cult.
"He wants me to be his POPE?" hahaha
I'm so here for Pope-King of the Goblins, Mortus, and MILF-hunter, Upior.
I surrender myself to the goblin pope.
Upior is definitely a mommy's boy.
And the next time someone says that old-school DnD is only about dungeon crawling, show them this series! The amount of political intrigue going on here is staggering! And the boys haven't even used the butt-note yet!
When they chat about bringing retainers I keep hoping to hear Jost is coming- at least Jon hasn't forgotten about him!
I think we would've overwhelmed Mother with the eye candy...and honestly, I would have been worried that the encounter with her wouldn't have gone the way that it did if we'd taken even more "candy" away from her.
To dangle both Upior and Jost in front of her--and then leave with both?
@@mattavaricios4679 I see you conspicuously left Mortus J. Gobliano out of the "candy" column. There will be a reckoning.
@@mattavaricios4679 though would being the consort of the Beastmen Queen be a step up from manual labour?
You know, I think I really like the beastmen but Mother is so creepy. I don't know... Also, I love how the A.V. club is now of notice to Thoth himself, I'm excited to see how that turns out!
RIP in power Mike ✊
Oh yeah baby it is Tuesday so the show is on. I love all 3d6 Down The Line videos they are the best!
Jon, I hope being at the first break and not having any adventuring done does not weigh on you. I for one loved the first 45ish minutes so much I listened twice. Don't get me wrong, I am here for the mayhem of the adventuring. The back story and all the things happening remind me of a detox and as I said before, the detox is my jam. I love learning all the backstory, history, what the players are thinking, etc. You do you but remember, if you post it, I'll watch it (eyes wide shut) because I know how good it is/will be.
Does facilitating of the peace between the goblins and Deano's (spelling) children a feat of exploration or something to gain xp?
RSVP yes for me Jon.
Great episode! A bit of an info-dump but that's unavoidable. I love the new arc for Mort, I hope he goes for it. I love Upior courting danger to get a close-up peak. Jon, you describe and play Deino so well, great work! I hope the celebration turns out awesome.
EDIT: Removed.
@@3D6DTL So sorry, I removed what I think was the offending part. I thought it was a GM error, I didn't realize it was a spoiler.
Mother's going to find Upior pretty interesting. All those muscles, and the poppy scent...😮
Holy Momma! The intrigue in Arden Vul only gets deeper
Giving up the Ioun Stone that increases Wisdom, when a huge chest of gold had already been given... There's a certain one handed cleric that is probably sad about that.
Dueling divinities! Real epic stuff. Well done!
This has been the longest stretch of side characters doing side quests in awhile. I wonder when they will get back to the hero and his quest.
Great episode as always! David having impeccable taste in women as always; we are truly birds of a feather. I'm very excited for Mort to be the one to oust the Goblin King as he converts all of goblinkind to the glory of Thoth!
What Patreon level is the uncut interaction between Upior and Mother?
Can't overstate how much I enjoyed the whole scene with Mother. Also can't wait to learn more about Dano (am I spelling that correctly) and her children.
About Thoth: it makes sense, in an environment where knowledge is power and currency, to want to have on your side a god whose whole bag is knowledge with a side of magic. I mean that's just cool and useful too. For a scholarly student of magic, it seems like a no-brainer. My character would definitely be intrigued by such a god, and probably study and worship him. Plus, adherence to an ancient god no longer commonly worshipped - that's hip, dude. Lot of people don't do that. Just why *did* Thoth fall out of favor? Has this ever been explained? He's clearly still around, inclined to demonstrate his power...
Mort becoming the Ptoh-Ristus would be an *awesome* development.
Nice! Early tonight.
Wondering how long it takes you guys to have Gangrene start a punk band to play at Avaricios' bar
So excited for my commute now! And I am first this week.
Don't forget about Lighta/Versanya! Avaricios you literally raised her from the dead following Lysseon! Is your bond so weak with your god? Plus I think avaricios is more of a party type character, thoth doesn't seem the be the guy for you.
Mort however is a much more well put together character, and more calculating. It think that vibes well with Thoth. Though that's probably some of Ted's influence as a player as well. Given that Ted/Mort is also the bookeeper I think it goes well with Thoth.
I really want to see Versanya in action though! I'd love to have a cult of Lysseon and Thoth align themselves and push the Settites out.
Versania is still recovering from her resurrection, so she’ll be out of commission for a while yet.
God-Emperor Mortus is one step closer to reality with him donning the pope mask!
I would so love to see this. I can easily imagine ol' Mort in a gold mask and a cone hat addressing thousands of devout followers in some vast cavern.
