you did a fabulous job sir......and you a 100% right about the film....its a dead art being a good projectionist.....it breaks my heart to see how people just throw away history and things that have worked for generations in the name of progress and technological advancement ...im glad to see your keeping these relics goin and teaching the kids .....hard to get em to sit still i bet
Aww, that was wonderful, I hope those kids know just how lucky they are to have a 35mm film projector home theatre set up. I'd give anything for that!!
This is amazing, guys! No more having memories, missing the days of your favorite movies in theaters, because there is nothing better than literally taking the cinema home with you. Merry Christmas!
This is so awesome, I have two grandchildren. I can't wait for them to be a little older, so that I can have movie nights with them. Family is so important. I was a theatre projectionist until we went digital. I retired soon after that.
Thank you for your comments that's cool. You have some grandchildren that you could start having movie night with That is a lot of fun I love my grandkids Yeah I was a projectionist for 40 years ran digital for 8 before they closed. It just wasn't the same after they switched to digital
Just discovered your fantastic set up. I have always admired how True film can be of such high quality having seen several Super 8 demonstrations over the last 40 Years. I do have an Optoma Projector and 100 inch Screen. You have inspired me to get a copy of Polar Express to show to my family and I do wish you all the best for you and your young family. Regards Trevor from Australia
Just happened on to your channel. Love your passion for film projection. We share in that. When I heard you say Brigham City I knew we also share living in the same state. My grandkids have said the same thing to me..."Grandpa, I bet you have the only 35mm movie theater in Utah..." then I tell them..."well, maybe in Davis County"
Fantastic that was a pleasure to watch, we also ran "The Polar Express" on 35mm at home a few years ago with my grandson on a almost 100 year old Ernemann 2 projector, using a platter as well. The video taken that night is on you-tube if you are interested. Its great to see I am not the only one still running some film at home
I am very envious that you have a 35mm projector in your home and a movie theater. And I am very impressed that you have such a nice family to watch a movie at Christmas. christie platter & film cleaner. strong projecter, "SDDS" and "DTS" sound. It's the best. Is SRD also supported? I look forward to more videos from you.
Unfortunately the real cinema don´t exist anymore. Now they show lousy digital movies instead of real movies in 35 mm. Movies should be shown in real 35 mm and not in digital fake.
