Most under rated film of 2015. Great performances. Important information. Mapes is as important as Snowden or Assange. Rather: a good man. Courange. Do yourself a favour - see it. Score: 9.3

Incredible & so important when a film film like this is made to share the truth & events that most people don't get to know. Often facts get drowned out when people who have power, whether it's on a small scale or huge such as this, don't want the truth known but rather their perception. I've experienced it myself & it's SO damaging! Even more ironic that this story is out there given what is happening with power, politics & the media nowadays. It's a shame that this movie isn't getting a second big release so more people see it & hopefully open their eyes rather than blindly believing what their told.

      Bravo Angela, well said !
when a german citizen comes into yr country - he is overwhelmed with the candor , deep truth, content of your media, not all.
me a hobby historian always sees this in context, prolonging of that legacy of this "MENNO"; it was Muenster, Germany ca 1600s and brave men`s fight against the status quo, finally they got killed for their beliefs - as i remember some managed to escape and established a beachhead in a new world - the rest is history, and excactly implementing this spirit into yr society.
In Germany we call them Mennoniten, Mennonites and in my 200k inhabitants-town in Germany they have their house of worship.
you can still see see the cages of these fighters against 16th cty power structures , yr forefathers and less succesful on Church of Lamberti in Muenster, Germany, left there to rot and as a warning to future fighters and believers of democracy. the cages are still hanging there today.
ask the SE of your trust.

I was in the movie as an extra in Sydney, City, and it really was a thrill to work with the features and extras.

"They do not get to do this! They do not get to smack us just for asking the question!" lol Why can't I lie and run awfully researched hit-pieces without being criticised!!!

Love it....but why does it feel like an episode of Scandal...... and I love Scandal Shonda is a genius.... I see the quality of storytelling in both....

Dan Rather was a very self important individual. When he was shown the stuff was a fake why didn't he just admit it. It's not like he did any research or actually investigated the facts. Truly someone you can trust with the evening news. Courage.
