Yeah, that was definitely something I was nervous about - trying to maintain the spirit of the original track while also trying to give it an RSE feel was a delicate balancing act. In trying to have both, it doesn't really go far enough one way or the other to really excel at either. That said, my ultimate goal is still to make something people like. If I accomplished that, I can't really call it a failure!
