    i did this but from a table list, and its just showing the number of the choice picked..

    You selected 'Ghana' as the location value, but when reviewing the table, the record had 'Cornwall' for location. I'm having similar issues.

      Wow. You have eyes for details. Thanks for notifying me. To rectify the situation, make use of the new record icon (forward arrow with *) at the bottom of the form and save your work. This should work!!

      @@babmathigcseicttutorial1706 I'm sorry, I don't see either the new information added via the combo box to show in the table in Datasheet View. I don't understand your solution how do I rectify? I continued searching how to do this and this worked for me and the data correctly shows in the database as you choose from the dropdown menu, the function is a "Lookup Wizard" th-cam.com/video/H_qAOGQduO4/w-d-xo.html

      The combo box should be linked with the column of the table from the form setting to reflect the value from form to table.
