But, with the news he received instead, it made all of his time liking her seem a bit like a joke. Was just a lot to take in. Track the eye at 0:03, with the way she brought up the topic, and the touch of the hand, he took it in quickly as his time to accept that he wasn't going to date her, even though what he was going to hear what he's been waiting for ~ so he thought. They were very nuanced with the acting in this scene. The 'I fucked up' at 1:17 and the sigh of relief and relaxation at 1:27 were very well played.
