    Simply Fabulous Doctor Sahib :-) Love the way you have provided the hands on tutorial. Crystal clear explanation and also going back and forth from AWS Console to your diagram solidifies my understanding. Thanks a TON once again

    subarashi.. sir I have a question what will happen to user session if we switch among servers. e.g if i setup an application which is a docker and docker image contains database, webserver- with user login and logout functionality and now I create three docker images in three horizontal scaling.
    1:-> And now if I logged in suppose webserver 1 and sticky session is off and if I hit again will I be logged out ?
    2:-> also the database information will be different amount three webservers?

    Hi, at 10:41 you made a typing mistake specifying index.htmk instead of index.html - why does the loadbalancer continue to work in this case? Shouldnt it result in health check failing because there is no index.htmk file on the 2 EC2 servers?

  • @arekgoral4309

    Correct me if I am wrong - R53 doesn't forward anything here - it only returns ip address of the load balancer and then the load balancer frowards the client traffic to the target group. right ?

    • @ServerGyan
      @ServerGyan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes
      All the rules are implemented on elb and if there is active and failover implemented, elb endpoint will be decided by route53

    @server Gyan - very informative. Is there a way to reserve the stick session to particular instance instead of ALB to choose it

    • @ServerGyan
      @ServerGyan  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there,
      Unfortunately, currently there is no way to reserve sticky session for specific instance.

    Hi Sir,
    Thank you for the valuable session, I have one doubt here, so once you make the sticky session enabled for 1 min, after 1 minute will the load balncer servers traffic to different instance. or how it is
    In your Video, once you enable the sticky session for 1 minute it is serving requests to the 2nd Instance - which says this is my second server, so after 1 min will it serve tarffic to 1st Instance.
    Regards,
    Teja

      Dear Taja,
      This depends on cookies, how do you set then, based on that your elb works. (cookies are based on ELB and Application)

    Hi - 13:17 can you please make another video to show the access logs, enable it in ALB and then do some requests to the ALB FQDN and then show in S3 how the sample logs looks like? Thanks.
