I love that you show what can be accomplished in a smaller space and with free or inexpensive things! Thanks.

Terrific! I appreciate the "can you make a messy corner-a corner for anarch' which is also agency! Great modeling of how to step back and tune in specially listening to 'let's go inside..there's nobody watching' comment from your elder child. Thank you for tuning in to their needs from big and rambunctious to small and tender.

Love our "Anarchy Corner". The most used space in our environment.

Loved the loose parts: pots, pans, REAL stuff is so important. Someone once said: you can't fool a kid"...maybe Bev Bos and I agree. Why have plastic fake tools when you can have a skillet, boards, sticks, metal shovels? The children obviously own this space and there is so little for them to have control over these days. Play on! mbns.education

that's right! give 'em real stuff. (doesn't have to be pristine - just "real"!)

Fabulous to see these videos. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. Curious how old your children are to see age appropriateness (I teach 3-5 year olds, but toddlers share our space, too, which you helped plan at SU).

Hi Hope - yeah, that's one of the things I enjoy seeing the most: how each kid is doing his developmental thing. My older son is 8 and my younger son is 4-1/2. sometimes they mix and match and other times they are in completely different (adjacent) worlds
