I’ve always thought if you found the source you’d find tons of pieces. Mainly broken and ones they messed up on. However i have never found a flint source. Have you and am i right? Any info would be great
When you think of how many arrowheads could be out there the collecting hobby could be rewarding for thousands of years to come. Maybe hundreds of millions of Native America people who lived over the last 15,000 years,many millions of which have used and lost arrowheads. How many could each one lose in a lifetime? There are estimates of total number of people who have ever lived worldwide(108 billion)but I've never seen an estimation of how many Native Americans have ever lived. If I was able to estimate the numbers,which I'm not,would they be staggering? Once you start looking how long does it take to find one compared to how long it took to make and lose it? I suppose there have been millions found with,what,maybe billions left in/on the ground waiting for you?
