Doing finger coils is low-key how I started my dreadlocks cause the sponge didn't work for me I went in the shower washed my hair let it dry for a day then just started twisting it with no gel or anything it took me a two days to finish it then I put get on all of them when I was done

@@prettyboyterrell8710 how thick is your hair u should start by twisting it without gel to see what type of style you want then use the gel when u ready to lock it and keep washing your hair but not all the time water also locks your hair to cause it gets tangled up

I personally started wit freeforming and now im semi freeforming and so far im pretty happy wit my dreads and how they look

I don't have dreads anymore but it's basically where you start with freeforming or maintained dreads and you either get them retwisted if you started with freeforming or you let them go if you started with maintained locs. Srry if it sounds confusing

Yea it depends on your hair type but soon I’ll show you how to maybe do it with two strand twist or one
You’ll probably have to use palm rolling or crotchet hooking if you’ve got straight hair. I’m pretty sure there are some videos covering this

No don’t do that, you can start at any length but for you I recommend two strand twisting them and see how long they are. If you like the length then take them out of two strand and crochet hook them

For you, just be patient and maybe start doing two strand twist or cornrows. Don’t put much product in your hair.
