This video friends will show you the process of removing tooth decay and its subsequent restoration with composite resin.

I'm not sure if I should be worried or impressed that my dentist definitely doesn't take this many steps...

@@nurusds3 At least in the US getting cavities filled is pretty common. Most people here go to the dentist once or twice a year, so cavities can be caught early and filled like you see in the video (although that one is a pretty serious cavity, likely representative of someone who hasn't been to the dentist in some years). Pulling the tooth is usually a last resort, for example I usually need a cavity filled every few years, but I've never needed to get any teeth removed. It's kind of like having a serious leg wound, if you go to the hospital and get it treated you will probably just have a scar, but if you let it fester and get infected, they might have to chop the whole thing off.
@@whydontyouhandledeez well usually if theres an infection they give you an antibiotic to clear the infection around the tooth and a root canal to clean out all of the infected pulp, I actually had to get one a few weeks ago

I have 13 cavities so this actually helps me understand what they are doing so much better, it’s nice to know what is happening inside your mouth while you’re just laying there. Also for people who are gonna have root canals, they aren’t that bad!! I’ve gotten 3 done and they took a while but it was a great process! Nothing to be scared of!

Recién me quitaron unas caries que eran muy pequeñísimas, y fue exactamente el mismo procedimiento, pero al fin veo cómo es el proceso por dentro. Muy buen video.

@@mighl-corona depende, mientras más grande sea la caries, mayor el riesgo del dolor, hasta el punto que te tienen que anestesiar. En mi caso no fue así, porque repito, eran muy pequeñas. Así que un 2 me dolió

Your dentist is a sadist. Not even saying that as a joke. Unless you live somewhere truly remote with no access to modern medicines (say anything from 100 years ago or sooner) the only reason is your dentist likes your pain. Go somewhere else!

When i was 11 i needed 2 teeth pulled and 4 caps placed, the dentist i went to didnt put enough numbing and i still felt the pain as if there was no numbing at all, i was literally screaming and squirming around to the point everyone had to hold me down, i will always be traumatized by this moment and never look at the dentist the same again. After this incident we switched dentists but i still think the same of it 😬

La dentista que me toco a mi hizo exactamente este mismo procedicmiento para 5 caries distintas, en diferentes sesiones y uso productos similares y me explicaba cada vez para que servia cada cosa que me iba poniendo mientras lo hacia, se ve que soy uno de los pocos que le toco una profesional con la cual quede conforme.

Desde que me hicieron 4 curaciones ya no soy la misma, cepillo e hilo dental, después de un año fui a revisión, sin caries, ni una sola, el momento más feliz de mi vida 💕

Yo lo uso por las noches, me lavo las manos, (enjuagarse la boca antes jsajsj) cepillo mis dientes, hilo dental (enjuagarse con agua y lavarse las manos), y luego cepillo otra vez. No sé si te refieres a los dientes, pero trata de usarlo de forma correcta, y no hacerlo de forma brusca para no lastimarte, si tus encías son sensibles, comprar un hilo dental que sea más suave y cómodo.
Al menos es lo que yo hago, también procura cepillar bien tus dientes

A mí me hicieron una pero me quedó un dolor terrible, no puedo masticar para ese lado, es decir, normalmente no duele sólo cuando se me olvida y paso la comida para ese lado y mastico

Gracias por mostrar el proceso, me hicieron hasta la colocación del ionómero en un premolar, por supuesto el trabajo, tiempo, dinero y la pieza dental se perdierona y mi autoestima también, pues no quiero sonreir pues se ve la pieza dañada, hora debo ir con otro odontólogo porque con el del desastre no vuelvo jamás. Tengo otras piezas restauradas con resina y la verdad es un material excelente, sobre todo si se tiene adecuado aseo.

Me encantó, son unos maestros los que hacen estos tratamientos, me hicieron 4 conductos en molares y premolares, hasta hoy en día uno de las mejores inversiones y decisiones que tomé, y para frutilla del pastel me hizo reflexionar sobre lo importante de la higiene bucal, hoy en día no puedo estar sin cepillarme después de comer cualquier cosa, es mas ahora mismo me dio ganas de cepillarme.

Que bien queda el diente de hacerle todo eso, parece que nunca haya tenido caries, los dentistas también son artistas a su manera, conseguir ese nivel de perfección tiene que ser difícil.
Yo tengo uno de esos. Me dijo que iba a durar solo un año o dos y después habría que reemplazarlo. Tengo casi 15 años con el empaste y está como nuevo hahaha.

@@maddawgzzzz You could not be more wrong. I was told I needed 3 root canals, 9 fillings and 1 extraction. After 4 months I have remineralized all of my cavities. My Dentists could not believe the x-rays. He asked me to tell him everything I had done while he wrote it all down.

Como en toda profesión u oficio hay niveles al ejecutar lo que sabes, desafortunadamente muchos se valen de que no podemos ver realmente si hicieron bien su trabajo y cobran por cobrar no importando lo que le suceda a tus dientes 😥 y hay otros que resuelven desastres a la perfección 💗

@@bagman1103 it's a good idea to at least know the basics of other languages. But I do understand where your coming from, English is one of the most used languages in the world. I use to be of the same mind set, until I started with learning the basics of the 5 other most used languages. I thought it wouldn't be a useful skill, but, I was wrong. It very useful to be semi-fluent in a couple languages. Again, I'm not disagreeing with you, it's just... it's hard to learn a new language even early in life.

I had no idea they drill in so deep for a cavity! I thought most cavities were a lot shallower than this.
They can be any depth from just a millimeter or less into enamel, then into the deeper dentin layer like this was, then reaching the pulp (what patients call the nerve) necessitating root canal therapy and usually a crown, or if really extensive the tooth can be rendered unrestorable and requiring extraction.
Alot depends on the patient's level of neglect and how long they've gone without an exam to catch it early. There's a saying that applies to both medicine and dentistry and it's very true:
"Early disease is hard to detect but easy to treat, late disease is easy to detect and hard to treat."
I would imagine it depends how quickly you get it taken care of
Drill and fill. How dentists make their money. If a dentist ever tells you that you need a ton of fillings get a second opinion.
@@henrywalter4750 honestly not bad advice. I've never had one but was told I did and before I got it taken care of my dentist stopped taking my insurance so I had to get a new one and when I told them that they cleaned my teeth and said there's no cavities.
@@MrBeetsGaming I was told by an NHS dentist I needed one filling. As a niave young 23 year old I snobbily thought private is best and when our family private dentist said I needed 6 I believed him. Had a whole host of problems with the teeth I had filled as a result. Two of the teeth eventually died.
My manager got told she needed 10 fillings. Being scared of dentists she put the appointment off for a year. She finally went to a different dentist who said she only needed one. Thank god she didn't take first ones advice. I wish I hadn't had all those fillings done all those years ago :(

Sí lo supuse, porque sí he visto videos de dentistas que trabajan en pacientes reales y se ve más oscuro y no giran los dientes así. Que buen truco para que los estudiantes aprendan.
Muy informativo este video... De hecho me salió en "recomendados",jeje, pero al menos ahora ya pude ver como es el proceso para tratar una caries.

I thought I've been going to good dentists (at least judging by their bills) but this is quite a few more steps than I've had done on me, and I have had quite a few teeth fixed, both big and small cavities as well as root canal treatments.
Here they use either some plastic stuff or amalgam, which is older technology but the one I prefer because I can chew through any plastic in a year or a few.
But in any it was captivating to watch how it's actually done. When sitting in the chair myself so can't see what's happening, nor do I really want to. But this one even though I thought would be grueling to watch was actually quite relaxing.

@@user-si6ny5rm7q так вроде кариес по полюсу лечат бесплатно? И пломба цементная бесплатно. Сам недавно ходил недавно лечить. На 8 приемов попал... так много кариеса было. Все сделали безболезненно и хорошо. Да цементная пломба выделяется немного, но мне как-то пофиг.

I have had a procedure done on chipped tooth 🦷, unfortunately for me after about 4-6 years the resin to fill the cavity or missing chipped tooth wears away! And I had to have the procedure done again. Every time they do the procedure, I lose more of my natural tooth. 🦷
