They said she was "passed it" when she came back in the 80's whilst just in her 40's and she made them eat their words. She was nearly 70 here. It just shows age is but a number. Thank you Tina. I remember being here! I was with my grandmothers (a big Tina fan) and I took her for her Bday. I called for 2 hours before I got the tickets totally worth it! My grandma standing there: "It is really her, she is really standing there" she was only a half year older than Tina and having the time of her life! I stilll have the tickets :)

You know, Tina could have stood there in a sweat shirt and jeans and people would have loved it, but instead she freaking build up a working (sorta) replica of Mad Max Beyond thunderdome and dressed as her character form the movie..... at her age... God that is a REAL entertainer kids.
She could barely walk in the original Aunty Entity costume...the full chainmail getup was almost 120lbs. And one of the movie cars had to be modified...because Tina Turner couldn't drive a standard shift.

You know, Tina could have stood there in a sweat shirt and jeans and people would have loved it, but instead she freaking build up a working (sorta) replica of Mad Max Beyond thunderdome and dressed as her character form the movie..... at her age... God that is a REAL entertainer kids.

TINA was 70 years old in this performance. She is amazing and has a heart full of enthusiasm. I loved her duets with Bryan Adams and David Bowie.

For me she looked amazing with that costume. That gives sense to the song
She could barely walk in the original Aunty Entity costume...the full chainmail getup was almost 120lbs.
And one of the movie cars had to be modified...because Tina Turner couldn't drive a standard shift.
