'7:25' this can also be accomplished by going to settings, then click on Firewall configuration. Then you can deny, turn on, or turn off.

Very helpful when installing 15.3. Now we have version 16. Which of these suggested actions are already incorporated in version 16 and which do you recommend to implement in version 16 as well ?!

hello can you make a video about zorin os has no sound after install, the output device is just only dummy output. i think it must have something to do with the driver because i think the os did not detect the sound card, i also hs tried do the alsa solution but nothing change. hope you can help me

I have a question I hope you can help me out with. I installed Zorin every thing went well except that my wi fi is not working. I install this on an older laptop a Dell bistro 1500. the wi fi is turned on but the system is not seeing it. the pc driver is Broadcom which is what zorin is using. I been looking for help online but haven't found anything. hopefully you can help

This message appear when I try the sudo apt install gufw after click enter:
"Waiting for cache lock: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. It is heWaiting for cache lock..."
How can I do to solve this issue and go further the entire steps shown here?

I want to comment that by the time I was performing the Install Multimedia Codecs process, the process just stuck when I pressed ENTER in the OK that appeared in the screen....nothing happens from this point..!
I keep just waiting and nothing happend..!!
Of course I followed all the previous steps up to this point.
The Zorin version I have installed in my laptop is Zorin 16.
Am I doing something wrong ? or this Zorin version does not accept this Multimedia Codec installation?

boot time is very fast (Compared to Ubuntu on same pc)
Its very stable
Boot times aren't too bad
And if u have the correct drivers for your graphics there should not be any lag

@@SkillsBuildTraining yeah. In my pc when I installed windows it's resolutions were 640p and 720p and when I installed driver from DVD it's got a lot of resolutions. But when I installed Zorin OS, there's no additional drivers. How can I install hardware monitor driver or Intel hd graphics driver 4400? Please reply. Without driver my pc can only run 640p and 720p these are very large. I need 1600x1200. I also tried to use terminal to add those resolutions but my monitor turned off.
