I think FAU was a sentimental favorite for Chiefs fans before the draft. Local boy done good and brought it back home for good.
He certainly passes the eye test on all his highlight reels. You can definitely see the NFL up-side. He reminds me a bit of Tamba Hali and Frank Clark, just the way he moves. I think he's ahead of his peers as a technician and how he prepares. Scouts may think that his floor is high because of that, but maybe his ceiling is low, because he made himself the best he could, already, and doesn't really have the up-side of some others.
I think he's got a real head start if they're looking for guys who can play inside or outside. Spags is going to have a bewildering array of fronts he can throw at opponents this year. I'm even hearing rumors that Chris Jones is politicking to get Frank Clark back, which would be pretty unfair to the rest of the league.
