@@TheIEPsolutionistI’m an empty nester and not in need of any more space than the Mazda has. Your needs may be different. I am enjoying the Mazda quality and reliability and great driving dynamics. Be sure to drive both before making a purchase. Ask me any questions you may have.
I just placed the order for that car without the tech package, and I opted for the black seats. I'm excited for it to be my new daily driver! I've put way too many miles on my F250, so I decided it was time for a daily driver. Love the content!
The Full Tech Packages On the Active might cost as much as the ST Line But the Active with the 3 cyl 1.5 will give you much Better Economy, as My 1.5 has gotten as much as 47 MPGs with using the Adaptive Cruise Control with Speed Recognition and With 47 MPGs, IT IS NOT A HYBRID! And Not even in the Econo Mode!
If I were to get one I would lease it for 3 years, due to the fact of the 3 cylinder and great deals can be had on one. Are the interior map lights LED or incandescent? Thanks.
Here in Brazil the market is dominated by 3-cylinder aspirated or turbo engines. So far, they have shown themselves to be as resilient as possible, they are not doing so badly. Some complain because it is a "new technology" and has some defects, but overall they are very good and the vast majority (almost all) buyers are satisfied with the engine's durability.
Keep the base model reviews coming!
Owning a base Mazda CX-30, it’s a win, win for size, features, interior quality and functionality.
Thanks Joe! More reviews for lower trims coming soon!
I am looking at a base cx 30 now and trying to decide between that and the 2024 Ford Escape. This is a hard decision.

The odd lane keeper assist is a bit disconcerting. And the 3,cyl is a trouble some engine.
Lease it for 3 years
3 years with my 1.5L 3cyl in my Bronco Sport without a single issue. Vibrates a bit more than I'd like but solid motor, good power when needed
