I can honestly say that this video inspired my wife and I to ride the Grossglockner pass,we did so this year 2019. it was amazing and I would encourage anyone to give it a go.
We covered 3800 miles around Europe and what a wonderful play ground it is with it's passes and mountain views,breathtaking.
I never like motorbike before. However, a few years back, after i did my motorcycle licence out of boredom, i had my epiphany. I understood why people love to ride. The world suddently seems huuuge, the curve seduce you, the wind in your chest, the vibration, and there is like nothing between you and the landscape you ride on. This video capture that perfectly.
It's the same with me. My son had motorcycles and I hated them. After 50 I got my driver's license and I started driving. I have completed the Grossglockner 8 times and covered a total of almost 200,000 km in 10 yea

I visited the Alps (also rode 3000km, final in all 6500km) this year for the 4th time, but first time with motorcycle. And maybe 2020 I ll be back also to visit the Grossglockner,

Simply marvellous. There are so many Alps Pass to do with you bike that you'd never had enough. If you can plan a tour just do it! I did it with the colours of autumn and I'll never forget that. It's truly a complete (body+mind) spiritual experience.
Hopefully I'll make it there in June. I'm getting my bikes ready just in case I need a spare at the last minute...lol.

Amazing video, I have only been there once as a teen we took the tour bus up there. I still have an Edelweiss flower from that trip.

This is an absolutely stunning video. I was fortunate to drive this road in 1972 in a new VW Beetle. Not quite the same thrills as with the motorbike, but amazing nonetheless. Thank you for reviving a very fond memory.

cycled up the south side a couple of years ago, it is definitely an epic road and i definitely recommend visiting it to anyone.

Great video. I was there a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Great road, scenery and a nice cafe at the glacier so what's not to like 😁 If you have the chance to ride this road I would highly recommend it, I'm already looking forward to riding it again some time.
