When he joined SM Entertainment as a trainee he had zero background in dancing in fact his saving grace on why he got accepted at SM in the first place was just due to his visuals alone. It was said that he was so stiff and terrible in dancing that his trainer gave up on him and flat out told him he would never see the stage. Look at him now he is NCT's leader and main dancer, one of Kpop's most flexible dancers, he went from being a bad dancer to monitoring NCT's dance practices.
