As an aussie I appreciate the video title for this video Jaume!! Australian MX fans have waited no less than 40 years to witness this sporting moment in MXon history. Sure Tim Gajser stole the show...but thats all he did, stole the show. Jett became THE most legendary Australian MX racer EVER!!!! Team Australia's win at MXon this year, will never be forgotten by at least 25 million aussies!!!!
You do this very interesting thing with your longer format videos, where you keep in the moment of relative quiet before the bikes arrive into the camera’s view. I think it’s a very cathartic way of bringing in a form of build up and tension release. Also the slower cuts really enhance the feeling of speed, and you very much get the sense that this is a true moment in time where something very special is happening - like the feeling of being up close with world class talent and extraordinary feats of riding. Thank you for this content. I find it both useful and artful in a way that soothes the senses.
Great edit!!! Being there to see them immediately after that third moto, when Jett yells to Hunter that they won….BRILLIANT! I watched it live on mxgptv and saw that from a distance and was wondering what it was like up close, just fantastic! And the sound of each individual bike, that’s always lost on tv broadcast. Being able to hear Kay de Wolfs and Cooper Webs’ bikes banging on the limiter and Jett’s Bike rolling from near idle out of corners, beautiful!!
Congratulations from the USA to all of our friends the Australian people on a well deserved victory To our USA team specially Tomac for a well earned 2nd place And to the Netherlands team on well fought battle for a 3rd place in the Trophy of the Nations Thanks to all of the teams from all over the world that participated on this very classic and prestigious motorcycle race
I just watched this for about the 10th time and noticed Herlings pull up to Jett after the final moto and say “you’re a fucking legend mate!” I think we are all in awe of Jett.
Aussies here's some perspective: Tim Gajser is from Slovenia which sounds like a very foreign country but is closer to Italy, Switzerland, Austria & Germany than Brisbane is to Sydney.
Excellent Edit! Better than the official. TG going 1-1 has to be the world's best but JL's style and speed is another level. Historic win for the land down under.....
In what level is Jett's speed exactly? Qualification Mxgp - Prado 24:12,517; Gajser 24:18,147; Febvre 24:33,988. Herlings and Tomac also under 25 minutes. Qualification open - Jett 25:03,375; Fernandez +0:06,145 etc. Race 1 mxgp Gajser 35:11,182 ; Tomac+0:06,810; Febvre +0:08,978 etc Race 1 open class Jett 36:14,723; Fernandez +0:07,919 etc. That's a whole universe between the level of competition they faced. And of course (absolutely logically), Jett was fresher than his competition in race 3.

WoW. Austrlia won, It has been one of my dreams for many years drem. Now I can go visit champions lol wow omf. I used to race, I m no fanwannabe. But respect for many years
Great racing, considering that's October in the Uk the track held up really well. In the lead up to the weekend I was expecting a repeat of Foxhills MXDN 1998!
Jett came from behind all of them to pass the best riders in the world including Gasjer. Tim was lucky to get that block pass for the win and didn’t convince me one bit he has anything on Jett. He alone is the fastest rider on the planet. Great job Jett, Hunter and Webster you bloody legends.
Jett racing in the open class definitely helped him to be fresher than all the mxgp guys. You only need to compare their winning times in the qualification and the first race to understand who was more impresive and that's definitely the mxgp guys.
Very good video quality, but, show one race at a time, do not jump from race to race, and also state what race we are watching. Most people are not familiar with the bike numbers for MXON race as they are different from riders regular numbers (ex: Tomac is usually #3 but here he is 22) Thank you, Mucho Gracias.
Great racing all weekend, all the crap USA got from their own! They did good 👏they haven’t one anything all year so second good enough! Can’t have it easy!! The euro boys dictate that 😂
Did he really? Jett chased everyone down from miles away and only got beat on the last corner. Had Jett had got a good start, he would have smoked everyone! #Jealous
What's happening? Who's winning? I don't have a scorecard. Compared to American coverage, this is very frustrating. Pretty video, but so what. You don't use any drones, which is fantastic and common in American footage. I see lots of praise on this thread but I don't really get it.
Congrtulations, befire Americans always won, the Europeans really showed up. There was not as much money in it, and ehy people love to watch a person lead start to finish, I do not understan, when I won my races, it was hard earned, No sponsorships, just working and training, but then I fell in love with a girl hahaha fuck me, There are so many people loving this sport, Never forget your love guys. And Thank you
Come on Herlings fans what happened? Tomac beat him both times today. Unlike the race Herlings won in the USA this one mattered a lot. The top two teams race the United States championships with one rider exception. Congratulations Australia, bad luck did not rob you this time. I hope Jeff Leisk and Chad Reed feel great about this too. Plenty of respect for Gasjer, Prado, Febvre, and Herlings but for fans to say the United States has no chance tells me that fan does not know the sport. If Sexton and Deegan were both healthy we could have added Jason Anderson and had two teams with a chance to win. Belgium looks tough for the future with fast young guys even without Liam as well. As Febvre and Herlings age France and the Netherlands are going to find it tougher. Spain should be tough next year with fast young guys. Prado will have raced the track once by then and should be very used to the USA too.
@motomanvh Jason Anderson ran first at Maggiora for the entire Moto with Herlings right behind him the entire time Herlings crashed at the end of the Moto and never was able to make a pass. Herlings tried everything and nothing he did worked. Then the brain dead Japanese lapper landed on Anderson after the finish. If Herlings had won that Moto the Netherlands would have won instead of France. I keep hearing what a clutch rider Herlings is but l have not seen it.
