I've been following your travels ever since you arrived in Australia... always hoping you'd spend some time in alpine areas, my favourite places in Oz. You almost got there in Victoria a few times, but you mostly stayed below the tree line. Then I saw you drive up the wonderful Jacobs Ladder, only to have my hopes dashed when you didn't show us the Ben Lomond area at the top. But you finally satisfied my alpine cravings at the Hartz Mountains. Thanks, your cinematography is incredible!
Thank you for watching from the beginning Dave! We would have loved to show more of Ben Lomond, but there wasn't much of a view the day we drove up there, fog upon fog just kept rolling in! Hartz Mountains were breath taking, very tough to do any of it justice on film that's for sure. We plan to visit more alpine areas early Feb, on our way to Sydney as there are so many spots we are yet to explore, above the tree line ;) Thanks again for always watching, it means a lot to us.

We've just been to Tasmania, wondering if you were there the same time as us? We were there 15 October to 8 November, Hobart to Launceston and over the West. Then we went back 2-5 December. We had snow on the first trip when we were travelling from Queenstown to Burnie.
Yes we would have been here then, we arrived on the 3rd Nov 😊 hope you enjoyed your time in Tassie! I imagine there would have been a fair but of snow still around in October, as we had a few encounters with it in late November!
@@WeWillRoam We really loved it. My partner was born in Tasmania and so he knows it well. We are planning many more trips back. The creativity of the tourism is excellent and the land is so beautiful.
Wow another amazing video - well done - at 6:57 is the peak in the shot - Adamsons peak overlooking towards Bruny Island and the Port of Esperance (Dover)?
