黃斑位於視網膜的中心區域，是視力最敏感的部分。患有視網膜黃斑病變的病人會出現黃斑水腫、滲出、出血或組織萎縮等症狀，導致視力模糊和視力扭曲，甚至影響分辨顏色的能力。嚴重者更有機會永久喪失視力。本講座會講解黃斑病變的症狀及中西醫治療方法。

The macula lutea located in the central area of the retina is the most sensitive part for vision. People suffering from macular diseases may have macular edema, exudation, bleeding or atrophic tissues, leading to blurred vision and distorted vision, and some may also affect the colour vision. People with a severe case of such illness may run the risk of becoming blind. This lecture introduces the symptoms of macular diseases, as well as the Chinese and western medicine treatments on macular diseases.
