All the deaths were metaphorical deaths because of her eventual disconnect from her now former partner. If you notice at the start, Courtney’s character always is surrounded by red or warm light, while the husband is always surrounded by colder light, symbolicly showing their emotional connection to the other, then the colours flip, and you see him in the doorway at the end surrounded by warm lighting. The video itself was inspired by The Handmaid’s Tale, which is a great dystopian future book/movie/tv series.
