The riddle for minimum attempts for Marcus to find the keys to the doors is only 3. 6:51 : You only need 2 tries to find which door for 1st key and 1 try for the 2nd key and none for the 3rd key.
Explanation:
The thing we should capitalise is that the question was "How many attempts will the guy need to FIND THE KEY FOR EACH DOOR.". So we don't need to necessarily open each door.
What Marcus does:
Step 1:
He takes the first key and uses it on the first door. If it opens we found the key for 1st door and go to step 2. If it doesn't open he must use the 1st key with the second door. If it opens we conclude that the first key opens the 2nd door.
If it doesn't open we can conclude that the first key opens the 3rd for by the process of elimination.
Step 2:
Now we use the 2nd key with any door other than door which is connected to the 1st key. If that door opens then the we conclude that the door you opened is connected to the second key. If it doesn't open the other door is connected to the 2nd key and the door you opened is connected to the 3rd key.
Conclusion:
The minimum number of attempts of Marcus is lucky is 2 and if he is unlucky he can so it in 3 attempts
