did you also overclock the cpu alot? Bcs my fps drops to 90 sometimes with double fan 1660ti oc from msi (fans are automatic and overclock too with the gforce program)
Do you experience any stuttering during gameplay? I'm currently rocking the rx 580 4GB version with my ryzen 5 3600 and the stuttering was a pain to get as non present as possible. Heard the 1660 super will help with smoothness and stuttering and hope it is true.
fortnite is cpu intesive, so the gpu won't make much of an impact on stuttering. if you have less than 16gb of ram, upgrading to 16gb might help with stuttering.

Try Dx12 because Performance mode runs poorly on AMD Gpu.
