Wait the DJI Mic 2 can not just send the recorded audio into DJI Pocket 3 directly so you don't need to sync at all? I think the DJI mic makes sense if you use the DJI ecosystem, but kinda strange to use with Insta60 b/c they don't talk to each other.
@hughhou I mean if you are using both Action 4 and Pocket 3 as a multicam setup with maybe an external recorder, even though both Pocket 3 and Action 4 supports timecode input, the only way to Jamsync them is with something like the Rode Wireless Pro, Tentacle Sync etc. The DJI Mic 2 cannot provide the jamsync for the Pocket 3 or Action 4. So I have to use Rode Wireless Pro to provide timecode when using multicam setup
Hey Hugh, sorry i'm on another subject but, i've looked through you videos and I cannot find how to remove a rover using Resolve studio. Drone yes, tripod yes, but I'm a bit stuck on a ''traveling shot on a rover. It's really small on the nadir but still Resolve keeps loosing it's track (it starts to slip). Is there another way besides Mocha ?
So Mocha is not tight to After Effects. You can call Mocha in Resolve just as easy as in After Effects. Then Mocha workflow works the same as my last tutorial. But just pure Resolve the tracking does not understand sphere. I am working with Blackmagic on this topic, but it is still very early to show anything that is easy, unfortunately.
One small suggestion, great review video btw learned a lot from you, just when u talk, maybe consider lowering ur voice a bit, I feel like the sound is at the edge of blowing up 😅 and I couldn’t pay attention to the technical part. Thank you
LOL… the Rode get the worse’s sound I know… low grade consumer microphone and systems… just poor influencer marketing. I am sitting here in rendering and foley up a soundpatch… and it needs a complete foley just because the guy did record with consumer like Rode…
@@KarlMeyer I am not responsible for death guys… check out sound quality it’s just low consumer quality… and if you are family with Rode… where is the expandable battery… in Europe forbidden per law… pro is nothing because a jamming of the Timecode it’s not possible and a good Synchronisation needs as minimum quarzsynced. Rodes software violates software patents… and the demonstration of Hough is total nonsense in the Stadion… A professional will never use in a Stadion 2,4 Wirless lan systems with thousands of mobiles around. So what the hell is this. Who have such a stupid idea for this. Hough is a professional… not active in the professionals group… a Professional should stay with the truth. System is overpriced and most reson not to use a Rode is their incredible poor marketing on the Windshields. I do not comment much because he needs to make money for his work for children’s games at a birthday it’s good enough… silent shure you get a reasonable sound out of such a toy if you use a 1000.-$ preamp and do isolate them in a perfect sound cabinet. To implement Timecode Synchronisation it’s not a bad idea but their implementation is just poor and not interoperational with professional gear. He did show a professional one the tentacle system… 800 $ just for Timecode…

Is there a way I can use 3.5mm or type c audio line feed to record stereo sound (music) to X4?

Thanks for the tip. This one I did it on purpose to blow the audio up to show why 32-bit float recording is important hehe.
Technical Pro Tip ! Use the volume controls to set the volume where you prefer, and close the pie hole under your nose.

do u have another especific video for time code in insta360 x3 or x4, how it work in a more detailed way tx and rx ?
I should make one. I have one with ONE RS 1" 360 and it works the same.
