All Muslims have 5 namaz. Shai just follow the tradition of imams and combine the morning+noon prayers, afternoon prayer, evening+night prayer. Sometimes even sunni offer back to back 2 prayers when they miss it. Or offer Qaza prayer.

Hi there, she is miss informed about the religious matters. Mosque or Masjid is both for Shias and Sunnis, you can't tell them apart by what they call the Mosque. Shias also pray 5 times a day but they combine the 2 afternoon prayers and the 2 night prayers together meaning the 2 prayers are prayed at the same time (one after the other). Fun fact - India has the 2nd largest Shia population after Iran. Some things are better left to the experts rather than miss informing.

You are right. Shii Muslims also have moscues. This young lady made a little mistake I think it's not that big. We Ismaili Nizari muslims call our place of worship and gathering a Jamaat Kana. Jamaat Khana is similar to Mosque but in our mazhab it's called Jamaat Khana. Also in Shii islam there are several branches which differ from one another. We pray 2 times a day but I think other branches of Shia pray 5 times, like Sunni muslims do. Just wanted to clear it so there would be no fights here about religion.

Bro FYI, it's Ismailis not Ismail's which is a sub-branch of Shia Muslims. Ismailis live in more than 50 countries of the world including Europe, America, Africa, Asia, and some Arabian countries as well. The majority of the Ismaili population lives in Central Asia (Tajikistan and its surrounding countries) and Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, etc, and JamatKhana is their worship place and only Ismailis can go there for prayers. All Muslims have Mosques(Masjids) both Sunni and Shias and everyone can go there no matter whether Sunni or Shia but there are some places like ImamBarghah and JamatKhana which is particularly for the specific sect. She didn't explain clearly maybe due to the language barrier which is why I have written this for your information and Knowledge. Thanks.
