    @Stratotramp made a comment but for some reason the comment only shows up in the e-mail I received from YT. Thank you for your feedback. We will make a more comprehensive video soon. We slapped this one together real quick as Tyler had to leave for the US, I only realised later that we missed some areas and that some footage were a bit shaky. See this as a teaser.......
    Also just a small correction, this will not be the first KFA to the US, we have a KFA Safari on floats in Texas......been there since 2016.

    Very interesting. Over in the "States" we have of course "KITFOX" then there is the ever popular "JUST AIRCRAFT" and soon the "KFA." What is the price point and will it be competitive with the already USA manufactured (no shipping over seas fees) Aircraft listed above? Lead times on kits including shipping? Replacement parts lead time with shipping? Where will it be supported from (Direct from Africa ONLY or satellite operation or Builder Center in the USA)? Have you already sorted out a location in the USA? (Feel free to contact us directly). :-)

      I got your email, Bryan.
      I’ll reach out early this week. Thanks!

    • @kfaaircraftandadventures
      @kfaaircraftandadventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Brian, I thought I would wait a while before answering. A lot of people talk but there is no action...Tyler's plane and a Safari kit arrived in Atlanta and he is busy with the assembly and final paperwork process for his airworthiness. He should be flight ready real soon. To answer your questions, yes we are planning a S-LSA facility (for the Explorer) in the not too distant future and we will definitely be looking at builder assist centres in the most popular regions for both the Explorer and Safari builders. (let me see a show of hands from interested parties)........As for support, I think we probably offer the best builder support in the industry, our kit completion rates are exceptionally high at above 90% by the original purchaser. The factory staff and myself can be contacted direct by builders via whatsapp, e-mail and other platforms. With every shipment to the USA we will be adding additional parts and stock to build up an inventory (We already have some in Atlanta GA and Mineola TX). The aircraft is so simple to maintain that parts can easily be manufactured in the US if required. Whoever maintains a tube and fabric aircraft will be able to maintain this one. At KFA you are not just an owner or pilot, you become family, I know most of the owners personally and we have groups for KFA owners from all over the world. Some countries have their own groups and then we also have the main KFA group which is administered by myself. We might be slightly unknown in the US but we have been around for a 30 years now so be assured, we will be sticking around......... Hope to meet up with you at some point. We will most probably be exhibiting at Oshkosh this year.

I do hope you can price this BELOW the American market and in doing so, sell a bunch of these aircraft. We want it........now.

    What market is there for bush planes in Atlanta or even the Eastern US for that matter? You will need a base in Boise, Idaho for best growth potential. Southern Idaho is the center of the bush plane universe in the Lower 48 States, Alaska is the Mecca of bush flying. See you when you get here. Be looking for you.

Our target market will be both bush flying and recreational flying in general and more specifically the Explorer is aimed at the LSA market, with the advantage of being a bush plane. The plane has wings and is not a slow bush plane so we will be flying all over the US soon 😉.
