I love how Crendor's approach to this is to respond directly to Jessie. If you were just listening to the audio in some spots, it'd sound like you were listening to a lost Cox n' Crendor episode. One of the best duos on TH-cam.

Also, Crendor is absolutely correct. Yes you can eat all the pickle. But in a dish you'd ideally want to taste a little bit of everything, not eat and taste every ingredient seperately.

I agree with you about the pickle. When I make burgers at home I use pickle relish as another way to spread pickle flavor. You have to use the right kind of relish though, because some relishes don't have the same dill pickle seasoning as a sliced pickle.

The pickle thing makes sense to me. Like Crendor said you need to have the pickle because it's part of the sandwich's flavor, it's supposed to be there, but at the same time if you want to know how good the pickle is you have to taste it by itself, without other flavors interfering, that's only fair.

Technically, Crendor did say he will take a "bite" of a pickle...which infers that it doesn't necessarily have to be the whole pickle.
